I'm excited, the trailer was great. Gears 2 campaign was a great. They need to fix the multiplayer in this game though. Gears 2 multiplayer was awful.

Dont think I will buy it As I do not play the Multiplayer that much, but it will def. be a Rental.

I loved GoW2! Even after I finished the campaign I played the Horde mode both online and off. What a great game.

In exciting action figure news, NECA's Head of Product Development, Randy Falk confirmed with Figures.com that Gears of War 3 action figures are in the works. Randy commented that "at least two will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con. They are 100% new from the ground up - all new sculpts with tons of articulation – way more than previous figures."

NECA is back at work.

Unless they change Multiplayer I wont be on it. The whole memorizing the map then going for the torque bow and/or sniper rifle got old.

Isn't that the case in most multiplayer games, you learn where the power weapons are and try to get them to turn the tide for your team. To me that was part of the fun, both teams rushing to get to a power weapon and then if the other team got it, trying to reclaim the weapon or take the guy out that has the power weapon.

That's not my problem with it at all. I like games that have power weapons that you need to control on the map (Halo, Unreal, Quake) rather than games where you choose your loadout like CoD or Rainbow 6.

I'm just not a big fan of the combat for multiplayer. It's fine for single player and I'll probably go through it co-op, but I doubt I'll play much of the multiplayer, just like the last 2 games.

Funny how Cliffy B hates how most people play the game (shotty's & chainsaw- fest) yet if you across any group who actually works as a team you'll find it's next to impossible to defeat them. But I agree, the shotgun battles got to be a little too much at times.

A game with as much resources as Epic has ABSOLUTE ZERO EXCUSE for not having their own dedicated servers this time around. The host advantage is just downright abysmal!
