It is sad how much they're charging for that kinda stuff what's worse is I know I'll end up breaking down and getting a few of them cause I'm a sucker for taking some thing and customizing it "making it mine"

I got that Orange Tiger skin one. I have exactly 240 points left and I sat at the screen for a good 5 minutes thinking about it, then I was like "What the heck".

I agree though, charging for that stuff is ridiculous though...

Has anyone else noticed that the flame skin flames move when the gun is on your back? I now it's stupid and small but the little things like that make me smile sometimes. The game plays so smooth and there isn't anything to complain about so the small cool things stand out.

After my ripping on these gun skins. I bought one too. Like above, I sat there for 15 minutes agonizing over it. Even went to YouTube to watch a video of the skin. Once I saw that I bought it. Lol. The thunderstorm skin. I suck.

I just really like the animated skins. I realize now I'm completely part of the microtransaction problem, but the having my shotgun on my back with a thunderstorm rolling over it was pretty damn cool. LOL

I understand and at the same time ...

That's why I wont even LOOK at the video. I don't want to be sucked into a micro transaction and reinforce that kind of business model. I think I would prefer them offering some kind of unique weapon instead of a skin...or even some kind of crossover player skin like Master Chief or even Conker...

I am really digging the humor in this game. It's not at genius level, but because I like the characters it's easy to laugh at their stupid interplay.

It's amazing how polished this game is. I am glad it's the end though*. You can only stretch something like this so far. I think they can do other stories in the same universe, but I would like to see Marcus' journey end.

BTW did anyone get the statue? How does it look (well done, poopy, etc.)

*I am basing that off the marketing telling me it's the end. Don't know for myself yet.

Played an hour and a half of horde mode with sportsdude last night. Yeah, Horde is gonna dominate my 360 for a while. Ridiculous fun. Gonna try the campaign and multiplayer today.

If they have anymore Gears games, I think a trilogy based on the Pendulum Wars would be awesome before E-day with the first game. It would be a prequel, but it can be done.

I have the free haze skins and the flaming skins from the beta. Some skins are unlocked like the chrome skins through leveling up in the game.

I played some multiplayer for about an hour last night and it seems a lot smoother than Gears 2. Played Gridlock a lot and it brought some great Gears 1 memories.

I also played co-op campaign with 2 other people and it was a BLAST! We got past the Baird, Carmine, Sam and Cole part and stopped, but wow, it was fun!

My next is Horde and Beast mode.

Didnt really play Gears 2 that much, but I picked up 3 after hearing some of your impressions on the game. I am having a blast playing and was playing horde last night for a couple of hours and it was honestly the most fun I have had playing a video game in a while. Im waiting on some buddies to get the game and run the 4 in coop campaign, I seriously cant wait.
