If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: Fable III
Don't know all the details - like I said, I don't listen to the man's hype.
But just about everyone I know who did (on various forums) said the game was again nothing like he promised. Just like Fable 1.
Well... Nothing is obviously an exaggeration, but apparently they left out a lot, and changed a lot.Last edited by MC Fatigue; 08-19-2009, 12:09 PM.Comment

Re: Fable III
Peter is all hype.
I liked Fable 2, and I'll check this when it comes out - but I won't listen to or read a single word the man says in regards to what he says Fable 2 will or will not be. He cannot be trusted; he lies all the time. He's just a hype machine.
I'll check it out when it's released and the reviews come in for sure, though.Miami Dolphins

Re: Fable III
I believe a lot people just won't let go with what happened with Fable 1/Ego. I followed Fable II prior to release very closely, and besides the story and the family connection, I would say he and Lionhead delivered on everything thing else they talked up. There were no features removed like with Fable 1.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable III
Why? Microsoft never had a big presence at Gamescom, and it was a Lionhead conference, and devoting the conference to your second biggest IP is hardly a waste.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

IMO I think they've learned from that and have been much better in delivering the hype...
I think the gaming industry would absolutely suffer without visionaries like Molyneux...we're very lucky to have him pushing the boundaries of what we can do.
Without it we'd just have Halo 8 that's just like Halo 3 with more online aspects...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Fable III
Like I was implying, what does it matter if only 1% of what he hypes makes it in? It still turns out to be a great game. Fable 2 didn't get the massive sales, ratings, and awards based on his pre-release hyperbole. Even if you've never heard a single word out of his mouth, Fable 2 is still one of the best games on the 360.
