I really hope the improve on the ending of this one. Fable II had one of the worst endings to a video game ever. All that time I put in and a cool storyline that just ended so poorly.

I liked the actual ending, but what I didn't like was the build up for a big climatic battle that never took place. It wasn't a surprise to me to find out this battle was cut months later, because something was clearly missing.

The build up was pretty disappointing I agree.

I just pre-ordered Fable III from Gamestop and purchased Fable II with all the DLC and started another play-through. I'm really going to focus on getting this character where I want him for Fable III. I forgot how much I enjoyed Fable II as it's been over a year since I last played it.

How much did 2 and all the DLC set you back? I might have to pick that up too.

^^^About $20 in MS points, just bought the DLCs yesterday...one was 800 pts, other was...560 pts?? i think...

the game itself was $15-20 though

So I began a playthrough today (lost all my save data earlier this week) with the intention of just a speed run and then I remembered just how damn satisfying this game is to play. I must explore, must shoot gargoyles, must find silver keys, and must open demon doors @_@.

Far as I can tell anyway. The gold bonus might not even be there.
