Only thing I've seen is:
No weapons, stats, money, alignments, or items of any kind import in. Just the gender of your fable 2 character and the choices you made referecned by NPC's.

That's about it.....so not really worth it...

Yeah I agree. I didn't even mess with it once I found out that they weren't going to do anything other than reference your last decisions.

Yep. That was a crappy thing. I was the same way and figured I had time to get the $ I needed... then bam! It's go time with 100+ days supposedly left.
I'm keeping it though until I get all items etc....

Yeah, I am so ticked about that. I am trying to decide if I want to trade it in, or start all over and do the complete opposite of everything I did originally!

well that's too bad, i would have liked to have seen you get at least say, 20% of your money and maybe some sort of name-reference from the fable 2 game like PM said he was going to do....

This game is dragging for me. I'm close to finishing it and then it's going back. What a waste...I guess I finally tired of the "dancing fool" interaction system, plainly good and evil decisions (no gray), and the story is pretty terrible.

Time to set up a Dragon Age countdown or play through Mass Effect again.

I thought it was perfectly clear what was about to happen. I took the safe rout and while there was like 200 some days left I just played and never went into the throne room for decisions. The days never go down unless you do actual missions as the king. I bought everything I could then waited and bought more then waited while doing side quests and exploring tombs. I got like 8 mil + so I donated and then finished the main quest.

The days never go down unless you do actual missions as the king. I bought everything I could then waited and bought more then waited while doing side quests and exploring tombs. I got like 8 mil + so I donated and then finished the main quest.

The problem is you are told you have 120 days left to go....but then go right into battle. It's fine IF you're ready but if you are counting on the 120 days to finish up you're screwed

Yeah I see what your saying but I also think it went from 300 and some to like 200 something down to like 100 and some. So I just guessed it was going to go to battle but it still is an horrid design choice.

I wouldn't be on here griping if I would have known that 1/3 of my total days as king were going to be skipped! I was saving up my money and buying property so that right at the end I could drop enough money in the treasury. Like I said however, over 100 days were skipped without any kind of warning!

Beat it this afternoon, and it's now in Gamestop's coffers. What a waste of money...the second half of the game blew, the whole:

Have Reaver, a guy who tried to kill you, be one of the "advisers" for every decision was lame...why not decide HIS fate, like Logan's? Plus the fact that being king offered no perks to speak off (e.g. an armed escort, not having to do fetch quests to snag a wife or make friends, etc), the fact that I boosted the army and yet still heard NPCs bitching about the lack of security, and all sorts of other things.

It pales so much in comparison to the BioWare games, or even the ultra-linear, though still fun, Squaresoft titles. This was terrible. I didn't really like Fable II all that much, but compared to this stinker, it was a masterpiece.

Sayonara, Fable, you wasted my life and unfortunately, the lessons you taught (that I can make a hero pose or dance like a fool to get a lover) are a joke. I'm done with Molyneux and Lionhead. Good riddance!

exactly what happened to me too...

It feels almost like they ran out of time or something to finish the game and you jump right to the final battle without really any warning. Didn't like the being the king at all, too short and the way they always present the decisions too you gets old real quick...I ended up skipping conversations during the decisions because they were boring.

This game has so much potential but flamed out in the end. When I can beat a game like this in 3 days with how much time have to play... that is not good. For example I have had dragon Age for a year and haven't made it half-way through yet and it has a way better story than this game.

That isn't true, you actually take over about 5/6 through the main story! I was really disappointed in that part too. How come I didn't have to find a queen? Or punish some group of people for not obeying my commands? And I also agree with what someone else said, how is it that Reaver tries to kill us(he blocked a bullet with his cane by the way which would make you think he has some type of magical ability!) yet we don't get to fight him and instead take him on as a trusted advisor! Ridiculous!

On another note, I have read you guys talking about Dragon Age, I have never played that game, is it worth a shot? How good is it compared to Fable 2?

Fable 2 wasn't that much longer from what I remember. Either way neither game was very challenging at all.
What I do is just try and get all the keys etc... makes it take longer. However I agree how they handle the ending etc.. was pretty bad and somewhat disappointing.

Dragon Age is a must own IMO. Can't wait for Dragon Age 2.
With that said I still have to finish 1 and may actually start over
Since you have a PS3 get Demon's Souls also if you haven't..... VERY fun game and ultra challenging to say the least.

I may pick up Dragon Age tomorrow. I am still undecided on it as of yet. As for Fable 3, I have decided that I am going to start a second run through with the knowledge I gained from my first go round.
