Thanks man, those were golden!http://www.operationsports.com/forum...pid-360-a.html
I still think the thread where the guy's 360 was stolen is the best, although was much more short-lived.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

If mullets aren't an option for my driver in next year's game, then I'm not buying.

Re: Forklift Truck Simulator 2009
Agreed, though they REALLY need to add colored sucks, too. I don't see why my character should have to wear white socks all the time. It's ridiculous and makes the game unplayable. This is supposed to be REALISTIC!!! Stop dropping the ball Astragon!Comment

Re: Forklift Truck Simulator 2009
It's a game for those, many of us to I'm sure, who've always wanted to experience but never have gotten the chance to drive a forklift. Add in the quests, leveling system, crafting system, perk system, etc. and you have yourself a game that immerses you in exactly what it takes to drive a forklift successfully.Comment

Re: Forklift Truck Simulator 2009
What I don't understand is how they can get away with such a lack of innovation, year in, and year out. All 2014 will be is the same game with updated forklift models and maybe alternate paint schemes.
The depreciation on my forklift is still only 10% a year? 10% a year. Precious gems don't even depreciate at such a low rate. It throws off my career mode when my fork lifts are retaining too much of their value. In year 2018 everyone had top of the line fork lifts because of this.
Also, when will they be updating their "road to employee of the month" mode. It has been the same now for five years. I had 0 workplace accidents for 5 months straight and I was not even considered for the award. The jackass that won it not only had two accidents; he also punched in 30 minutes late 2 shifts in a row.
How does all of this get past the beta testers? Astragon should just change their name to "wait for a patch-gon".
I've had it with astragon. They won't get my $9.99 + tax this year. I am going to boot up my packard bell and play forklift simulator 1996. That was back when they actually cared about the game and not their bottom line. I am boycotting astragon this year and I urge you all to do the same.
PS - Does anyone know where I can find updated manufacturers for Forklift Simulator 1996?YNWAComment

I like the fact that, on the thread about the guy getting his 360 stolen, the last post is "WOW! 9 pages and this thread is still going strong." Obviously, it wasn't going strong.http://www.operationsports.com/forum...pid-360-a.html
I still think the thread where the guy's 360 was stolen is the best, although was much more short-lived.

Re: Forklift Truck Simulator 2009
I'm a stickier for equipment... In previous versions only the Classic and Standard hard hats were available out of the box. They did add the Advanced series hats through paid DLC, but in my opinion those should have been free DLC. I mean, the Advanced series hats were on the disk to begin so why charge for them!! If they continue nickle and diming their customers, I'm going to have to skip this year.
Well, you know I can't really skip it all together. I love forklifts too much to do that. I'll definitely wait on the first price drop though.
Maybe.
PS:
I saw this in the March edition of Forklifters Monthly:

If that hard hat is in the game this yearPITTSBURGH, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- A U.S. safety equipment maker says its new hard hat, made from a plastic sourced from sugarcane, is the first to be manufactured from renewable sources.
MSA, based in Pittsburgh, says their new V-Gard GRN hard hat gives workers the option of using protective gear that not only helps to protect their head but protects the environment as well.
Manufactured by MSA in Brazil, the hat is similar to conventional hard hats made from high-density polyethylene, but the HDPE used in the V-Gard GRN model is sourced entirely from sugarcane, an MSA release said Wednesday.
"By developing a hard hat sourced from sugar, we have reduced the overall carbon footprint that's associated with the entire life-cycle of this particular product, from start to finish," said Eric Beck, MSA's Global Director of Strategic Marketing.
"Green" polyethylene is made from sugarcane ethanol, which results in a smaller carbon footprint than HDPE sourced from petrochemicals, he said.
