Re: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
Would I have paid $60 for this game? Hell no, not with a story that is five hours at most. That said, is it worth every penny of the $30 I paid for it? Absolutely. The presentation alone makes it feel like an awesome four to five hour action flick. Throw in the very fun shooting mechanics/gameplay, and I'll definitely make this a ten hour purchase by playing through twice.Comment

You want me to review your review?
Well alright.
So your first point is the story is well written. You should explain why. Personally I found it to be generic and paper thin especially in comparison to the original. I also found it failed the in the as you put it "unique situation" department so you could expand on what some of the unique situations are and mention how they compare to the first game which did do a great job of that (donut shop shootout, club, bank robbery, tower etc. pretty much everything up to Freedom Fighters) and why you think they're great this time.
Your controls section does a good job of getting the point across.
If you're trying to imply graphics are better than any console game...well there's that old saying about opinions not being able to be wrong but...yah. Though I played it on the 360. Seem to over hyping/rating them. Not that they were awful but it comes off like it was the best thing ever.
Neglected to mention the single player arcade mode under Features & Extras.
This part in particular is phrased very oddly:
Overall this is a must buy for any fan of the first game and could overlook some of its flaws to really love and respect the story and what they were attempting to do with the game. For all others it’s a rental and complete and then move on.
You should also have it filed under all 3 possible systems so people don't miss it. Just make sure you mention it was reviewed on the PC. (Which you did anyway.)
I also feel a final break down either by scoring individual parts or a +/- system helps out a lot.Comment

Likely what Dalewood was referencing.

I'll do a revision later on, after I finish the Mafia II and Need for Speed Online Review!
I don't have my 360 right now, waiting on a new console and then I'll get to work on the console versions. And to be honest the PC versions are always better, so if that's the truth. They usually have less issues with freezing and some of the glitches. But I will play them both through and later write a 2nd different Xbox 360 review.
Shadows, as far as substance goes, the review was very informative and unbiased. Grammatically, however, there are plenty of grammar and style mistakes, starting in the very first paragraph. Your thoughts are there man, but I would suggest having someone proof read your work before posting on your site next time. I don't mean this as an insult, but if you want your site to gain popularity, it has to look credible, and stuff like that makes it look fairly amateur.
