Yeah I figure that. I went to that place in Berkeley 2 times. And that is a scary place. I was so out of my confront zone. I remember going into the bathroom and it said **** Billie Joe. That is when my one friend told me why they wrote that.

I dated a lesbian punk princess for a couple of years, and she never said anything about GD ripping anyone off. As others have said, I think they settled into an alternative/punk niche that is theirs to claim. At least as much as anything else in pop music.

Lol, so now when an artist is influenced by someone, they blatantly stole from them? Well hell, if that's the case, then every movie producer, song writer, and author alive today are nothing but a bunch of thieves...

        Yah. Right.

People who don't like a particular band say this stuff all the time. "Ah yeah, I hate [insert band name here], they just stole stuff from [insert obscure underground music group here]."

I guess it's to prove how big of a music fan they are to be able to name some ridiculous band no one has ever heard of that another band is ripping songs from.

I suppose Pantera didn't rip off Exhorder either.

That's ridiculous. Pantera is a superior band in every way. There are similarities between the two bands, but this is so far from a "rip off" comparison it isn't funny. Especially when you consider what goes on in music, metal included. I've seen Trivium and Lamb of God straight out play chunks of At the Gates and Meshuggah in their songs respectively.

Pantera's influences are varied. Dimebag and Vinnie's synergy is fundamentally different than what's going on in Exhorder.

Besides Pantera started off as a hair metal band.

Figure they have released about 116 songs with 8 studio albums, they will probably give this disc that 45 song treatment like Beatles. Did they mention of DLC albums for this?

I doubt this game will have its own DLC.

I hope they don't go leaving out any big songs other than Time of Your Life of course.

It's called Good Riddance, and I hope they don't leave that out.

The only issue with this being exportable, I suppose, is this isn't a track pack like AC/DC. This isn't like 20 songs or less, this will easily top any other band that I have on the game. It would take a while to scroll down through, or it may show up on random often. I understand I can just delete songs, but I would definitely like to refrain from doing that if at all possible. I almost just wish I was limited in the songs that we were given.

In fact, I kind of wish it was like that, anyway. I'd rather see this game get the track pack treatment, rather than having to pay for a full game (even though I'll try and be renting if possible).

With Time of Your Life in brackets, that's just the more commonly accepted name and of course it'll be left out. There's no bass or drums. They left out Hey Jude and Elanor Rigby from the Beatles game.

Also we haven't been able to delete songs since RB 1 so there's no guarantee we'd be able to for this.

I'd say Hey Jude was left out because the lead instrument is a piano. Frankly, that song just wouldn't be interesting to play.

And there have been songs in Rock Band (as DLC) missing vocals and/or bass. I don't know off the top of my head if there are any that are missing drums. I kind of forgot about that aspect though, good call. I kind of just half-assumed the song would be on there, having completely misremembered that it would only feature half of the instruments.

Also we haven't been able to delete songs since RB 1 so there's no guarantee we'd be able to for this.
Well, I suppose there's deleting them off the hard drive... then again, one would be deleting the entire pack if so, in which case we're back where we started.

lol, Evey band stole something. Even the great ones. Maybe someone had to be the original first, but not now. The new bands take a lot of things from all the older bands. Greenday was heavy into the Ramones. Billie just took their 3 cords theory and work of that. He actually is a pretty good guitarist. His Guitar teacher at Fiat was taught by Joe Satriani.

He did a song like that at the Talent show at High School but it was way ahead of its time. My band and our GNR sweet child of mine won. Got all the girls that month.

I don't think there's anything that's missing bass. There's songs severly lacking on bass (Perfect Drug) and drums (Polly) but none that are flat out missing them in RB. Unless it's one of the Spongebob songs. One of the Rolling Stones songs for GH is missing drums and bass.
