On my friends list, I'm leading the counters stat by a large margin. This game reminds me of Assassins Creed and to a lesser extent Arkham Asylum in the sense that you pretty much set-up and manage the fights with the counter as your cornerstone. Most of the enemies are fairly easy. The big brawlers are the ones I always make a point to take out first because I hate those grapple sequences.

Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
This game is so, so, so, so much fun.
Blown away by how much better it is than GTA, and I loved GTA IV. The combat is a blast, it never gets old. As 42 said earlier, every single time I leave my first apartment, there's 2 girls out there talking, I drop kick one and then take the other and ram her head into the wall. In my head I'm always like "why do you keep coming back here?!".
I have barely touched the story, just beat the Boom Boom Room (or whatever it's called) mission, but like 5-6 hours in. Just running around the city, stealing cars, beating up people, and doing stupid stuff.
This one passes Spec Ops: The Line as my 2012 game of the year (so far).Comment

Those two females have some hilarious conversations, so I decided to just jump kick the next person I see. The best one was the old man I sent flying through that front door into two other guys.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

The most awesome thing happened to me while playing this game.
SpoilerI was doing the favor where you have to take pictures for someone to put on shirts, I was taking the picture of the sunset when all of a sudden some drunk tried to photobomb the picture.
I had to beat him up.

Once you start working with Ricky (had to drive Viv around last night and did that street race) how much longer is the story?

Re: Sleeping Dogs (PC/360/PS3)
I think you have at least 8 or 9 more main story missions between the police side and the Triad side. I would say you were about 45% done.Comment
