For the record, I'm also a straight-up melee soldier. I'm all about the combat. I can't slice, I can't do anything except kick *** and take names. I haven't had much trouble killing anything yet. Last night I took on 3 Dark Jedi Masters at once and barely broke a sweat.

I'm not at a high level yet, but that's the type of character I'm gonna be too. The fighting in this game is a little more complex than like FFX or something, so getting heavily involved in a lot of different areas isn't my strong suit yet. Just beat the hell out of the opponent, that's my plan

Hey Tcrouch, maybe you could help me out here as you seem to be pretty far into the game. I'm having a bit of trouble betting the Dark Jedi girl on Dantooine, she's the one who's in the stone ruins in the grove. I just can't beat her at all. I recently saw the commercial for the game on TV, pretty cool spot, but anyways, they show the main character fighting her with 2 lightsabers at a time. Is this how you have to do it, or is there another way to beating her?

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I did the opposite of what Tcrouch did with the female jedi at the ancient ruins. Pretty much did what Tcrouch did. I didn't have "Stasis, but I did have "Wound." She did get stunned a couple of times and I was able to dwindle her life down. Make sure you watch your life force so that you can med pac yourself if you need too. I also took Carth and that Mandalorian (Candoris?) Let me just say that a lot of people were pissed with me after I did what I did.

      Mgoblue,

I went to the forum on star wars.com and did some poking around about the game. Don't go there unless you want to read spoilers. People there don't even warn you.

      Tcrouch,

Yes please. Take out any post that kills the plot for us or at least doesn't warn us, but damn it man now I can't wait to get to that plot twist!

I didn't have to fight her, I just kept talking to her and she eventually saw the error in her ways and came back to the light side

I'm done with Tattoine (one thing I need another planet for to finish it up) and no major plot twist yet. I'm starting to wonder about Bastila, she's really preoccupied with being weak and scared of the dark side. Don't know if that's forshadowing or not. Also, she's turning down all my advances, I want my Jedi to get some action

hit the story plot twist yesterday afternoon, and I agree with OH MY GOD! That wasn't expected at all, but it's one of those things where you look back and can see all the little things that might have clued you in. I'm almost done, should finish tonight, and I want to start another game all ready. Going through on the dark side is like an entire new game. Sure, the basic goals are the same, but the way you accomplish things is so different.

Blindsided me pretty bad...as I play through the second time, I'm getting tons of chuckles as a light sider.

Hit that part yesterday as well. I'm going through the last planet. I hope to finish up tonight or tomorrow. I also can't wait to dive in and play another one as a lightside soldier. I wonder how many different endings there are. It will be cool to find out how the story changes if I'm on the light side.

                              Mgoblue,

When you run through it on the darkside, don't save Juhani!

                              TCrouch,

How far have you gotten on the lightside?

hit the story plot twist yesterday afternoon, and I agree with OH MY GOD!
