Bioware's other RPG's are good, but not to this level. Neverwinter Nights was fun, but it really got to be repetitive for me (no idea why). I never finished NWN, but I ripped through KOTOR, and plan to do it again. I can't get enough.

And yeah...last time I killed everybody who was near me. Husband/wives, people who thought I saved them...nobody was safe.

This time, I plan on being at the top of the light channel instead of where I ended up on the Dark Side. By that time, the football games launch, and it'll be time to change gears

I did the opposite of you, and I haven't been this hyped to replay a RPG ever. It's a whole new game, same basic plot, but a total different decision tree. Being nice is fun, but frustrating at times. Until you get a bit of a ways in you never have enough money, where as a dark side you have other options.

I was actually wondering about that today. I always rip people off, steal stuff, and get bounties as a member of the dark side. I never really had to worry about money.

Never found a need for money, personally.

            I never used armor.
All I took were Jedi, who also didn't use armor.
We all had heal abilities, so I'd cycle through heals every round, healing everybody...no need for medkits.
I never used the stimpacks until late in the game, when I needed a leg up on the insanely hard last levels...enemy after enemy.
You can't buy lightsabers, so I never really found a need for money, other than dumping it into Medkits for emergencies.

Something I'm missing? I went through the game so fast, I probably missed over half of it . I'm going to empty out every quest this time through, however.

without swoop racing on Tatooine I don't know how I'd have paid for the droid there. Just another subtle difference in the different gameplay modes...Once you get far enough in you'll be ok with money, I didn't really buy armor or weapons either, just open every single box I saw in any room. I could probably sell a lot of that crap off to make some money, though I stupidly forgot you could sell things until halfway through, when it didn't really matter

is there a big difference between male/female do you know? I'm going to be a dark female next time, pretty much the opposite of the light male. Man, I'm glad you guys were talking about this game on here, otherwise I'd have dismissed it cause NCAA just came out. Quite possibly the GOTY

Definitely game of the year. And so far, I'm getting hit on by everybody as a light side female scoundrel. Pretty different. I might play through a THIRD time after I'm done here, as a dark side chick. I'd love to have them hit on me, and THEN kill them. Can't imagine the responses she'll have in the dialogue trees.
