I thought when you had the saber is was a third person view such as medal gear and splinter cell?? am i wrong. how do you fight with a light saber in first person view. i am talking about jedi academy by the way.

OK let's not get confused here. You said "FPS" as in First Person Shooter. The entire game is a FPS.
As for the particular view, it's definitely 3rd person by default, but I believe you can switch between the views.
So if you're talking about a simple camera angle, then yes...chances are it will be 3rd person the entire game...now that I read your first sentence over again, I see you meant camera, then sorta shifted to the "FPS" terms and threw me off, sorryComment

It probably should...unfortunately anything that has a first person cam gets called a FPS regardless of other possibilities. I kinda consider them all just "shooters", but JA should be ok for you. You don't have to deal with the boring levels in JO.Comment
