Re: inFamous 2
Just finished the game full hero: holy activity used to make babies, bowel movement!
What an ending!!!!!
Great game. Wow. I mean really. I think I read in the IGN review that the story was lame, but come on 20 hours of story outside of a book is bound to have some low points. I thought it was a great superhero sequel....it had some interesting bad guys with complex motivations. Damn that was good.DON'T PANICComment

Re: inFamous 2
Just beat the game. Loved it.
SpoilerI really enjoyed this game. The story was interesting and it seemed to have less annoying side quests compared to the first. Powering up areas was the only thing that I felt got too repetitive. I loved the city, especially Flood Town.
I fell in love with that ice jump R2 power. That made travel so much faster and funner. Then when I got the lightning tether I was in heaven. I felt like Spider Man swinging from buildings.
I was disappointed in the ending. The final boss wasn't that fun or challenging. I was hoping to have an **** battle with The Beast not just float around with no real chance of dieing spamming the R1. I also didn't like the fact that the ending pretty much rules out inFamous 3. Though the ending did fit well.
I'm a little confused about The Beast though. If John's really not trying to kill everybody, and just wants to heal those with the conduit gene of the plague, then wouldn't he of told that to Cole in the alternate timeline? Why would Kessler come back and take the course of actions that he did. Why wouldn't he just kill John?SpoilerMaybe Kessler did the opposite of what you mentiond here and came back in time to fix it.Last edited by Spongedaddy; 06-11-2011, 03:57 PM.DON'T PANICComment

Behemoth boss fight. I cut out the cut scene afterwards, but I'll spoiler it just in case.

I used sticky grenades and found the fight a bit easier than I feel it should have been.Comment

Because you referred to specific parts of that post and even named a character who would be returning. If it reveals or discusses plot points, spoiler it!Comment

Re: inFamous 2
Finding all the blast shards is a cake walk compared to the first. Especially when you unlock the sense blast shards perk. Now I need to find one more bird and do 3 more side missions that refuse to spawn for one reason or another.Comment

Re: inFamous 2
I had the same issue king. You need to go to the areas and kill enemies until they give you one of those picture/convoy side quests. For the bird I bet you need to go back to the Bayou area that Nix took you. You'll even get a trophy. That was the bird I missed at least.Comment

This is my good playthrough as well. Not sure if the civilian safety thing protects civilians from grenade blasts or not.Comment

Re: inFamous 2
I use grenades when I know civilians aren't around, the blast radius isn't very large though so I pretty much only use them against devourers, against shields and to spam small groups.

You get plenty of opportunities to do good side quests (stopping robberies & those such things) even after maxing out to help maintain it.Comment

Re: inFamous 2
I wouldn't really worry about hurting civilians unless you like to play in character or whatever. I used my attacks with no worry about collateral damage and even did a few evil blast shard stealing missions and finished 100% hero. You can max out your karma fairly early in the game and after that it doesn't really matter what you do.
