So awesome! My sister and I have been playing it for hours on end the last few days. It's only unfortunate I go back to school the day before it comes out so I can't play it with her then. I'll be checking out the demo though.

Luckily I'm already sold, because the demo is a poor showcase. Your average LBP1 community levels have more inspired level design than the two story mode levels in the demo. Other than that there's a multiplayer rocketfight arena.

AWESOME demo. And the music, as expected, is fantastic. Can't wait for this!

I agree, but I think they're there to show off some of the new features in the game only. To get the complete LBP experience, you have to buy it I guess.

I loved making quirky contraptions in the 1st LBP such a device that when Sackboy pulled a trigger it would launch a golf ball which would swing a bat which would hit a switch that would launch a rocket that would hit a button that would drop a hundred bombs onto Sackboy.

I already have an idea a 2 about levels I plan on making.

                Agreed.

Me and my friends played that Cosmo level for about an hour. Amazing how something so simple can be so fun and addicting.

Though the demo is really short, my brother and I had tons of fun with it! Can't wait for the full game!

Is this game in 1080p? the reason i ask is the first one was only available in 720p.

I wish I was more creative to get into LBP 1 and 2. My son loves the game but for me i just notice I sit back in awe at the stuff he comes up with. I just don't have the creative bone to make this game enjoyable for me, and it seems like there's a steep learning curve with figuring out all the quirks on how to make contraptions and levels work.

I'll still be getting LBP2 for my boy but for me I probably won't play it.

                          Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?

You don't have to create super-complex levels to have fun with this game. Heck, you don't really even have to create levels at all. Just sit back, play and enjoy the levels that come on the disc and all of the amazing levels others will create and share.

I did do that but I feel like I'm missing the major part of this game with the level design. I was always the kid that, when everyone was playing with legos making cool stuff, I was making block towers and 4 peice "cars". lmao!

I don't think you're missing out on any of the game, because other people are using those tools FOR you to create free endless content and replayability. I never even OPENED the creation tool aspects of LBP1 and I'm still playing it to this day because other people out there have created more levels then I could ever even think about getting through.

I'm still using that other half of the game, just in a more indirect way

Pop that disc back in and start playing chef... give all those amateur developers their moment in the sun!
