Wow, I'm glad I had my headphones on for the music in that first video.

I really like the platformer aspect, but I guess I can tolerate the new levels, like racing. The platform stuff from the original game was still so inventive, I hope it doesn't get muddled down with a bunch of new controls and stuff.

Also, it says the existing levels from LBP1 will be in LBP2 (in the first video), so that's pretty cool.

If you haven't gotten LBP yet, Game of the Year edition is only $30; twice the content, half the price as the original.

That looks too cool, but I'm absolutely dying for an in-depth single player story mode. I know for a fact that I won't be creating any levels, it's just too difficult to be worth the time taken to do it (ModNation Racers is a different story).

By the way, this game should sell incredibly well.

I won't make levels either but I can't wait to play the stuff that other people make. The levels out there now are really good already and that's with an extremely limited system so I'm excited to see what people do now that it's a lot more open.

Man reading the game informer preview has me even more excited for this game. One developer already made a Command and Conquer clone! I can only imagine what we will be seeing. I'm glad that the story mode will be made just like the last one.

More community features, LBP.me functionality revealed

According to Evans, the days of hunting for levels randomly distributed across the face of a planet will be gone -- player creations will now appear in a simple list, which players will be able to filter using a number of metrics (genre, keyword, etc.).

More exciting than that was the explanation of the functions offered by LBP.me, the web portal which will give players their own personal websites, which will automatically update with that player's creations, recently played levels and top scores. If you're looking at one of these pages in a browser, you can set the game to automatically queue up the level next time you play -- or, alternatively, you could just print out a QR barcode assigned to each level, place it in front of your PlayStation Eye, and watch as it loads up the appropriate creation.

Yet another reason never to trust the so called 'GameStop' experts. One of the sales guys there told me that there would NEVER be another Little Big Planet. I had been unable to find the game for $20, so after taking the GameStop's manager's advice, I ordered it online for roughly $30. Literally a week or two after I buy it, after waiting for a LONG time to purchase, Little Big Planet 2 is announced, and the prices drop. Gotta love it.
