I see no one has discussed this game, since it's release.

I got it through GameFly a few days ago and I'm struggling to stay in it.

I'm not very very far in it, does it get better as the story goes ? or does it continue to be repetitive.

LBP2 is out? Shouldn't come out till November I believe.

LBP is very fun, and IMO not any more repetitive than the Mario games are. Playing multiplayer (online or offline) is the best part about it. I can understand where just playing as one person may not do it for you, but with others it's a blast.

As stated above, the game doesn't come out til November 2nd. You most likely got LittleBigPlanet and I believe there's a thread for that.

Sorry, I searched for a Lost Planet 2 thread and I misread the title.

LBP lacked the fun factor of Mario and it did get overly repetitive offline. Mario had simpler controls and bad guys that came after you along with environmental challenges. LBP was just you vs. the environment and it got old after awhile imo.

Must be one of those "agree to disagree" things then. Like I said, I play this with my little sister and sometimes other people online. Multiplayer becomes very engaging for the both of us.

The gf and I would play LBP for hours and hours on end for 3-4 weeks. Mario got old to both of us after about 3-4 days.

These videos from the beta give you an idea what's possible with the new tools. Can't wait to see what's created once the masses get their hands on it.

Very cool. My sister saw the E3 videos and she was really mad that the game drove away from the "simplicity" of point-A to point-B objectives, but I was explaining to her that these extra things were more for the online portions and not so much for the single player/co-op that's built into the game.

I hope that's the case, because I'm personally looking forward to a single player that is similar to (and longer than) the original. I would love to play all of the other online components, but I would prefer that they weren't requisites for 100% campaign completion.

I mean I was trying to explain to her that not only are they not removing anything, but they're making this a game for the masses as you can nearly do anything you want.
