I feel like a major dork admitting this, but last night was the second night in a row that I had a dream I was playing this game. Of course, I was very sad for the second morning in a row when I woke up to discover that I still have an entire month to wait.

Man, I suck at fighting games, and they get little burn from me in terms of playtime. Saying that though, I'm tempted to ship off my copies of TFU: Sith Edition, and Black Ops to Amazon and pre-order the collector's edition.

I'm liking what I see from Taskmaster. Wasn't too familiar with him before but after hearing the rumors that he would be one of the next to be revealed, I did some research. As far as Akuma goes, I'm not sure I like the decision to go with him. Although this is the biggest difference I have ever seen between ryu and akuma, I just feel like only one of them was needed. Would have liked to see one of their slots go to someone that we have never seen in the MVC series.

Don't feel bad cyros, I did too lol. The people in the background were very annoying. I just found it humerous how everytime clockwork would set up for a combo everybody would go crazy. Definitely was some straight groupies in the building lol.

Not too long ago, I was watching a television show on video game addiction and how hardcore MMO players lose their jobs and girlfriends -- and how their life was pretty much ruined because of the game. I sat there thinking "Pshh, that will never happen to me." Then I played Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

Since first touching the game I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. There is so much to explore and test out, that once you get a taste of what is possible, it just leads to so much more. This is mainly due to the fact that in this game, when you have an idea in your head for a combo or set up and try it out in the game, in most cases, it will actually work. With this sense of freedom, it's really difficult to put the game down because you just keep thinking about what you can do next.

More than that, the game just feels extremely responsive and smooth. I had my doubts that a 3D fighting game could feel so quick and snappy, but Capcom certainly proved me wrong with this one. Out of all the recent fighting games, MVC3 already feels the most like the old school 2D fighters in terms of control and responsiveness.

36 characters total? Not bad I guess. Still not enough though sorry. Once again, dont spoil the population with 60+ the first time around then cut it in half. Where's Gambit, cyclops, cable, silver samurai, etc. Come on now.

I would love it if it had more, but 36 is a good number. They will probably release more as DLC. Gives a chance to actually learn the characters.
