I'm pumped. it looks like returning to things that worked in cod4 and WAW. As some of the commentary mentioned cod2 but I never played so...

even that one map reminded me of crossfire. Very cool. Recently sold mw2 since I don't like it anymore and was never really fully on board with it. Loved cod4 to the tenth power though, and really enjoyed waw's multiplayer as well.

It looks like they're really serious about taking the all-time console throne here.

Atomic my brother you are on it! I really didn't have a lot of outlook for this game after playing MW2 for about 3 weeks before trading it in, but these videos, game modes and commentary are really getting my wheels turning. Very intrigued for this game now and given that I need to cancel/switch my Medal of Honor preorder might just work on in favor of this title.

Yup. There's nothing to prevent until the cheaters have found something worth preventing. Cheaters will always be ahead of the game.

Nice find!

Loving the maps, they look nice and small. Not too big, but not too small. A lot of close quarters combat as well!.

That flamethrower looks a bit too strong though...

I really hope this game is good. I have been dying to get knee deep into a great FPS for a while. I just couldn't do MW2. So much cheesing and way to many perks and all that crap.

Agreed 100%. I was going to just give this a rent, but after seeing all the videos released in this last week or two, I am going to make the 40-50 minute round trip it will require to get it early...I am just a bit afraid of some of the new weapons/kill streaks they added, like the crossbow and the rc car. The other new additions are awesome.

means it is worth a purchase for me.

I actually have always liked the Treyarch versions of this series anyway.

Same here. I think I might have been one of the few people that actually enjoyed World at War. Just never seemed like I found many people that thought highly of that one. IMO, multiplayer seemed more balanced than the random grenade fest that because all too common in COD4 over time, I really thought the stat tracking was very well done and the co-op campaign was priceless. I never really got into the zombie modes, but I know those were a pretty big hit.
