Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
If you're really good at it S&D can help you level up faster but not to the point that a person with 1/4 as many kills as me is going to have prestiged twice as many times.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
The thing on S&D that annoys me though is having to wait to re-spawn when you get killed...it usually takes me a while to get into a flow of a game, and so I don't actually get to play all that much on S&D since while I'm warming up, I get popped (!)....Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
500xp per base kill in snd
100xp per base kill in tdm
Defensive kills and bomb plants also give a high amount of xp. Playing snd with a good squad and winning most rounds a player will level up much faster than someone who plays other game types.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Yeah it's usually a good idea to play a couple of games of TDM or Domination to get your aim, and sensitivity warmed up before jumping into Search & Destroy. That is what I usually do.Minnesota Vikings

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Even still 5000 S&D kills would be worth 25,000 TDM kills. I've got 22,000 kills and I'm only on my 7th prestige. Not to mention with 22K in kills I have a ton more bonuses for stuff like headshots, revenge kills, payback kills, and buzzkills which would more than cancel out two days worth of plants and defuses.
The bottom line is even the most god-like S&D player isn't going to prestige 15 times in two days played.Last edited by sven; 02-26-2011, 02:37 PM.Comment

I will second that. As soon as I switched to that rifle on the Wii, I started to dominate.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Just curious how many of you guys snipe? And what maps are your favorite sniping maps, and what are your favorite vantage points in those maps? The maps that I tend to snipe on are; Array, Havana, Cracked, and sometimes Jungle and WMD. I especially like the tower on Array, that overlooks both 'A,' and 'B' on Domination. The rock face on Jungle and the buildings on Havana also provide some good vantage points. But anything that overlooks 2 objectives is a nice vantage point imo.Last edited by Claymaker52; 02-27-2011, 02:37 AM.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I snipe on Firing Range and Berlin Wall. The sniping spot must have only one entrance way. I put my claymore their, and boom, I snipe very well."My body could stand the crutches but my mind couldn't stand the sideline"- Michael JordanComment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
A guy goes 501-8 on Havana in Demolition.

It's pretty well known that Demolition is the easiest mode to spawn trap in but this guy's team has it down to like perfection. Apparently on Havana when you're on the Defensive side, and you let the Attacking side destroy the B site first.. Then your team pushes them all the way back to the spawn. There is only 2 spots that they spawn in. 1 Is back behind the pillars, the other is behind the garage. You can just position yourself in the far back corners and shoot, or knife them continuously as they spawn and they just keep spawning there. Video was sped up for time reasons but he had to have over 100+ kills just knifing them over and over.Last edited by Feared; 02-27-2011, 06:40 PM.Minnesota Vikings

Glad I don't play this anymore. Ruins the game and I'm sure Treyarch/Activision won't fix it.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment
