Yeah that's the thing, most good sniping spots have more then one entrance way, or are wide open, a la the tower on Array, it's got one entrance, but you're naked almost 360° around. I loved on COD4 where you got 2 claymores to start out with. Only getting one is kinda BS imo.

Array, Crisis and WMD are the only maps i snipe on anymore, and even then most times i have to half play it as an assault, since this game isn't built for sniping. AT ALL. At least i have my G11 and Stakeout class otherwise.

I haven't played Demilition that much, but how do people spawn camp? Do you spoawn in the same exact locations? The spawns in Domination are pretty predictable, especially on Summit, the other team seems to spawn right behind that building as your trying to capture 'A.'

In Demolition the spawns are very straight forward, more-so than any other game type. Attacking side spawns on the attackers end of the map, and Defenders on their side of the map (usually closer to the Bomb sites.)

You can narrow it down to usually 3-4 exact spots where a side will spawn (without Tac. Inserts) Which is usually where a team of strong players will push up to, overlook the spawning points, and kill the enemy team as they spawn. Some maps have more spawn points then others, Havana seems to have the least spawn points.. which is why it is the most abused map for spawn trapping.

This really only happens in Demolition because in other game modes like Domination, or TDM if you push too far into a teams spawn it will flip to the opposite side of the map. In Demo because they don't want to spawn Attackers right by the objectives it doesn't happen and they continue spawning in their end of the map.

That and as soon as someone destroys it, I'm on high alert, so it's not as easy as just tracking the sniper down by using hacker. Which brings me to this. Either Scout or Ghost Pro, should hide all of your equipment from Hacker users. Or at the very least make it so your equipment doesn't appear until they get to within a certain radius of it.

Horrible horrible connections all night long on the PS3. Yet somehow I managed to escape the session with a 2.15 ratio in TDM. I'll take it on a night like this.

That guy who went 501-8 boosted.

Someone on youtube friended some of the people he killed in that game. One guy goes 1-336, this guy has a 2.48 k/d ratio and is very good stats unless he plays with that guy above. Had 3 straight games, 1-336, 1-255, and 0-68.

The guys on the team would spawn and start shooting up in the air(so they show up on the radar) and then would be killed. No one watched kill cams, etc. The entire other team was in on it.

I never destroy the claymore right away. Usually the sniper is in close proximity so I throw a flash bang followed by a grenade. If that doesn't kill him I shoot the claymore and then go in the room. It works most of the time, not everytime, but it is a good strategy for me. Destroying the claymore right away is not good strategy because it alerts you someone is near which I obviously do not want.

Yeah I found out about the hoax, it's pathetic that they would even do something like that. The fact that they boosted their stats from that is a joke, and the kids that acted as Sheep to the slaughter just dash boarded at the end. Everyone that participated in that should have their stats re-set to level 1.

                              Even better, do this.

If you see a claymore, don't shoot it, stun it then run right past it. 100% of the time the enemy doesn't know you're there and you just run in there a knife him.
