I played 4 maps last night..very nice..not amazing, but the elevator map is pretty sick. It reminds me of a bigger version of the boat map in COD4 that everyone hated, but this is far better since there are multiple ways to get from one end to another.

Just like the boat map, once you get get into their spawn area, its a stealth kill festival.

Agreee with this guy. Good not great. I do like the new zoombie map that comes with this one. It's huge and really lets try so different thing compared to previous maps. I could do without the George Ramero thing I think.

I just got this for the 360 and man am I pretty crappy right now. I'm still getting used to the controls. I keep throwing my grenades when I mean to scope in or fire my weapon. I'm also having a hard time with the positioning of the left stick. It's just weird after using a dual shock for like the last 11 years or so. Really makes my thumb sore to have so close to the handle all the time.

After further review I actually regret getting this Map Pack. Not that the maps are bad, they are pretty decent to play on.. it's just that Black Ops as a whole is getting pretty stale to me. I've been finding myself mostly on the Gears Beta despite getting the maps.

Maybe I'm just getting burned out on the COD series, I know there are at least 2 more DLCs planned for Black Ops and I don't see myself getting those.

I'm so not burnt out I just spent $380 on a 360, MS points, and 3 month gold live membership just to play this one game until the PSN come back up.

After further review I actually regret getting this Map Pack. Not that the maps are bad, they are pretty decent to play on.. it's just that Black Ops as a whole is getting pretty stale to me. I've been finding myself mostly on the Gears Beta despite getting the maps.

I'm enjoying the maps but I agree after playing Black Ops for more than an hour, it does start to get tiresome.

And I thought there was only supposed to be one more DLC? From looking at the loading screen on the Call of the Dead zombies map, you can see two torn out parts of the page, on the left is the intro from the first DLC, and on the right, I'm guessing, is the intro page to the third? Where did you hear about the fourth one?

That's some dedication right there.

That's how I felt about the getting the first map pack, which is the reason I haven't gotten this one despite it's largely positive impressions. I just don't play this game enough any more to make it worth it.

You SURE there is two more packs planned?

Well I managed to raise my ratio from .75 to 1.18.

I'm getting the hang of the 360 controller and I fixed my NAT type. Now I just need a decent gun. Whenever I manage to pick up a Galil, Commando, or AUG I usually go on a nice run.

Seems unlikely that Activision would order four packs with MW3 coming out in less than 6 months from now.

Really? It's all just what you're used to, I guess. I personally don't like the loosey-goosey, "gummy" feel of the sticks on the PS3, and also the controller is a bit too small for my liking...I also don't like the triggers, especially for driving games or games where the degree of input matters. But, a lot of others I know swear by the dual-shock.

Glad to see our PS3 brothers are back up and running. But sorry I missed you when you were on XBL!

Oh that is definitely a huge part of it. I've been using a Dual Shock for like 10 years now and a 360 controller for 5 days.
