Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
How did you do this? I am on a new router and it says I hav e astrict/moderate NAT type. I went into my router settings and uPnP was enabled. Did you have to do some Port Forwarding?Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
There was a time when I owned both Ps3 and Xbox 360. After about a 5 minute adjustment period I really couldn't tell the difference between either controller. They're both real good.Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Im at 1.71 , but my kbps only ranges from 500 to about 1200 out of 10,000. With a bandwidth this low. I could only imagine how much higher it would be if I had a better bandwidth.
I can never get it to stay any higher consistantly. Once I was at 10,000 and it was insane how I was killing so easily online.
Anyone has any important info on what I need to do with my router that would keep me any where between 5,000 to 10,000 consistantly.
Any help would be greatly appreciatedSimply *Magic* Just click the link and Watch :)

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Thanx I've moved back to the PS3 now though where my KDR is up to 2.15.
I have to say one thing I really liked about the 360 version was the dual login. Making that second person use their actual account meant there wasn't anyone with a (2) at the end of their name going 2-20. Those people always seem to end up on my team. I went 25-7 today on Crisis and the rest of my team managed 16 kills combined. We lost by 34 kills.
I wish I could help you with your connection problems but I'm pretty clueless about such things. Hopefully someone with more knowhow can help you.Comment

This may only help a little (or not at all), but I was dropping out of a lot of games before I set my XBox360 to have a static IP address (as opposed to a dynamic IP address). It helped a little, but I still have times where I drop or get wailed on because the connections sucks...part of it (maybe a big part) is that the netcode for CoD kinda sucks, but I won't get back into that discussion. Make sure you set the address to something high (much greater than the number of devices you could ever conceive of using your router simultaneously) to avoid any potential IP address conflicts. If you are on Xbox360, here's a nice tutorial:
Here is a guide on how to setup a static IP address on your Xbox 360. Setting up a static IP on your Xbox 360 will aide in getting an Open NAT, and forwarding ports for your Xbox 360.
Hopefully it helps. Happy shooting.Comment
