*Sigh* I want this game now.... as I type this it's 1AM on the 8th. Been watching some videos of the game on Youtube.... looks amazing. We're so close. I don't think I've been excited for a game like this in a very long time. I'll be playing this game literally all day on the 9th that's for sure.

Anyone figure out how to upload videos to the interent? I had a couple of sweet matches to show off.

I don't think you can until the game comes out. They still have leaderboards disabled as well.

We might have to start over - at least now I know not to waste my money on double uzis

I didn't watch the video, but that is ridiculous. I hope Treyarch will really bring the hammer down on cheaters as they said they would.

Yea I wouldn't if I were you. All it did was it made fun of Treyarch then it came up with a status bar, then it hits 100%, then it literally unlocks and completes all of the challenges up until the 15th prestige...

Now that I'm using the FAMAS, I'm getting much better, had 3/4 games in a row with a positive K/D ratio. Everything is starting to slow down and click a little better.

If I had today off work, I could probably get to the 1st prestige. I'm around level 40 I think. I haven't cheated or anything, so you're saying you would report me?

It's probably best to ask this come Tuesday when there will be more people (and more noobs) online, but has the noob tube been as annoying as it is MW2? Is the "splash" of the grenades from the tube toned down so that it actually takes some skill to get a kill with it?

I can't remember reading about it leading up to release, but I think they toned it down. Figured I would check with you guys that have the game to make sure, since that is easily the thing I hate most in MW2.

Yeah it's been toned down and people aren't using it as much in general. It will probably increase tomorrow but so far noobtoobing has been slim.

I've only been killed by it once and shot at a few times but it didn't hit close to me so I didn't die.

Yea, but what I am talking about is nothing like that. Getting killed while you are standing where you spawned is just ridiculous.

Drop shotting is going right from standing to prone.


There is nothing cheesy as of yet...don't think there will be. But I can see RC Cars becoming very...very annoying, wayyyy too many per game. The only things that are "annoying" in this game, and probably won't be changed(unlike the spawn system for small maps for domination) are knifing range and grenades(too much grenade spam on small maps, at least for my taste). So it's a great game with some stuff that needs to be fixed with a couple minor annoyances like any game. It feels up to par with CoD 4 really, it just needs a patch or two and some more maps.

Yeah if you have the hardline perk it only takes 2 kills to get the RC car, 3 kills without it. I like shooting those little basterds though.

This is going to be my one and only statement on this topic, so pay attention.

I got Twitbombed today from dozens of people the same 2 links. Some are people using old dashboards or old versions of the game. Others are claiming victory on old dev builds that don't even connect to the version of Xbox Live that you use. Others are reproducible issues that we will hotfix or patch just like we said we would. In essence, we likely know more about it than you do from watching a video on Vimeo or YouTube.

What many of these people want is to be Internet nerd famous. I'm not going to make them famous and you shouldn't either. Internet hysteria from normal people is exactly what they want and that's how many people reacted today. You gave them exactly what they want.

Given the opportunity, I'd personally wield the ban hammer for anyone who thinks he is clever by abusing any glitches. Good think I don't have the opportunity that often and we actually have a constructive, measured, and well-managed live ops team.

We said we would support the game. We are going to support it.

I've gone out of my way using my own limited, personal time to try and get to know about 8000 (and growing) as best I can. The last thing I want is for you to think that because I don't talk about it ... that we don't know or care about it. We didn't spend 2 years of our lives to toss it all in the trash in one day.

I thank all of you who sent in polite, constructive messages without the hysterics.

So here is my one and only public statement about it.

I'm not going to talk about it publicly. We are disinterested in making mini-celebrities out of douche-bags. You better think twice before you glitch. You never know who in your game doesn't like glitchers who reports you and saves the game in their File Share and tells us about it.

Our forum admins and VIPs along with JD_2020 (Community Manager) will be managing the communication directly.

I think the 10th Prestige (or 15th in this game's case) lobbies will not be the same problem we all dealt with on MW2. Someone might get through the new XBox update eventually, but it seems like as for now, this can't happen over XBox Live or Playstation Network.

Now, hopefully whoever Amazon used to ship my game shows up bright and early tomorrow instead of mid-afternoon. I'm ready to start leveling up!

I know what glitching is etc… but if it’s a flaw in the design how can anyone be banned or reprimanded for doing it?
Is that part of the “agreement” no one ever really reads in the game manual etc..

I really envy you guys excitement for the game. A few years ago I’d be all over it and Candyman and I would be preparing for an all nighter. I don’t really know what spoiled the FPS scene for me other than just not being able to play much and when I did it was like taking a BB gun to an M16 fight.
Maybe one day I’ll be back, certainly after I retire.

Ok - I feel bad for saying this but the only way I've been able to get high K/D ratios is by camping. But now that I've done it, I realize that running around in this game is almost lethal in itself. Look at all the things that help aid campers:

• Claymore: Everyone knows what this is. Put it in a hallway or at the top of stairs and people trip it and boom.
• Camera: You can plant surveillance cameras anywhere on the stage. Great for knowing if someone is about to walk into your campground
• Motion detector: Enemies will show up on your radar if within range of one of these devices
• Decoy grenade: Throw one of these, and your enemies will hear gun shots (and see it on their map) and then come and check it out.

All these items encourage people to just sit and wait. I'm guessing these are great for objective based games but for deathmatch games, these are really just disheartening. Has anyone bought the Hacker perk, and do you know if you can see all these devices?

I've seen a level 50 so far - and they mopped everybody up, so I'm pretty sure they didn't cheat.
