Re: So what's your GOTY so far?
I still say it has to be Red Dead Redemption.....
Alpha Protocal was good but didn't have the wow factor for the masses
Mafia 2 ......same as above
Halo Reach......same as above, only thing that makes Halo games good is it's online play. Take the online out of Halo Reach and what are you left with ?Lux y VeritasComment

Re: So what's your GOTY so far?
For Me... I think my list is pretty much the same since RDR came out.
1. Red Dead Redemption
2. Mass Effect 2
3. God of War 3
Hon Mention: NCAA 11 (I've played this more than anything)
Halo: Reach isn't really doing it for me. I really don't like the MP this game. Too much Swat/Snipers, and Bungie needs to work on spawning, I spawn right in front of enemies way too much. And enemies spawn right behind me as well. I keep saying to myself "C'mon Bungie, Why do you think this is a safe place to spawn" when I die 2 seconds after I spawn. But the campaign was really good this time, which surprised me, but a 7 hour campaign doesn't warrant GOTY for me. Plus RDR. ME2, and GOW3 campaigns were all better than Halo's single player IMO as well.Last edited by CC; 09-22-2010, 07:14 PM.Comment

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Red Dead Redemption
3. Halo Reach
I'd have Red Dead tied for #1 but way too many of the missions in the game amount to annoying busy work....patrolling property with a dog, rounding up cattle, stopping crows from eating your corn, almost every mission after Marsten is reunited with his family.
Hoping Fallout New Vegas ends up on this list.Last edited by metallicatz; 09-22-2010, 08:16 PM.Comment

Still Mass Effect 2 easily.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
