It was hard for me not to put the Show on there, but the fact I had to wait over a month to play franchise turned me off. Show is great but 10 is a buggy game.

One thing that amazes me with RDR thus far is the lack of bugs and glitches for such a huge environment. I guess I'm so use to playing Fallout 3 where it was riddled with bugs but I thought it was just because the game was so huge and deep.

I was gonna make this the other day but with a poll. Then decided to wait until tuesday so people could play Mario. Now there's no poll.

Anyway with no sports/racing included:

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Deadly Premonition is probably going here when I finish it.
3. Alan Wake is probably going here when I finish it.
4. Bayonetta
5. Heavy Rain,while I haven't finished it I believe I've played it enough to give it this spot.
6. Splinter Cell Convicition...same note as above.
7. Resonance of Fate...though I haven't got to play it much at all.
8. Yakuza 3
9. Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands
10. God of War 3 and that'll probably be knocked off by Sherlock Holmes eventually

Well I'm only going to base my vote off games that I bought this year. So far, that's MLB 10: The Show and MLB 2K10... and my vote certainly isn't going to MLB 2K10.

But I'm going to still get Skate 3, Backbreaker, ModNation Racers, GT5, and I may look at getting some other games as well that just haven't hit the "must buy" radar yet but I might find on the used games shelf someday (Heavy Rain, GOW 3, etc.).

However I'm wondering what Metroid Other M might be like and IF a new Zelda comes out....

Red Dead is great. it's look and feel and missions are cool it just feels to barren at times. Plus no fishing = FAIL


I am hoping winning Eleven and NBA live show their stuff this year...

Show and RDR for sure. PS3 non sports has to be Heavy Rain. Alan Wake soundtrack of the year. It will come out too late but Dead Rising 2 and Fallout Vegas will be interesting.

Red Dead Redemption for now, but there's still half a year left and there's a lot of potential coming this fall.

Bad Company 2 is my GOTY so far. Red Dead is a good game but its a lil overrated IMO.

anything with this much hype always has the potential to be overrated. My copy should be here this week and I hope you and i will disagree.

but yeah FF13 is the GAME OF THE YEAR.
