    Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)

I was hoping the single player would be a bit longer. Less than a day? I'll wait until it drops under $40. Until then, I'll just download Twisted Metal 2 from PSN.

      Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)

I think I will wait on picking this up tomorrow. Not like I was going to be able to play much anyways.

Need to hear some impressions and read some reviews. I didn't even get to play the demo online so that needs to be cleaned up before I buy this. But I'll likely be getting this Wednesday if impressions are good and it ends up being smooth online. I need something fresh in terms of online MP.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want to purchase this or not. I did enjoy the old games but with the Vita coming out I'm dropping a lot of money with that and MLB 12 and ME3.

This could be a huge part...

Played a couple rounds tonight of the single player campaign. It was hectic and fun. It's going to take some time getting used to the controls (I kept trying to drive like I was playing MNR). It's also going to take some time figuring out how to use all the weapons the best way.

I decided I'll probably pick this up in the morning. Gameplay vids look pretty impressive and really fun. Add me on PSN if you want to play multiplayer. Hopefully this will prove to be a good fix from the games I have now and mix it up nicely.

The game play against the AI was fast and furious and I can only imagine what going up against real brains will be like. I did a roll call of my friends list last week and only 5 or 6 people were planning on picking up TW. It'd be cool to get some OS members on my list to game with, I'll definitely take you up on that.

I was actually tempted to go buy it at Walmart about a hour ago. If I can't sleep soon here I will probably go get it. My work schedule kills me haha

I'm hoping to see a lot of you all online tonight. Not sure if you can do just custom matches with friends only.

You can create custom game rooms, set the room name and put a password on it. The only drawback is you can only set up non-ranked games this way so no XP is earned. Only ranked gamerooms earn you XP and you can't lock a ranked room.

But can you at least create a party and join a ranked game ala COD?

Cars and weapons I think but there's no info out there at all.

Edit: Was playing around with the menu's, found an area that shows unlocks. Looks like vehicles, weapons and skins.
