Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)
For the record, I've only played the campaign through co-op on Hard. I think I used Sweet Tooth for that, but basically be all too wary about your grace period that you have, and if you have it down a little bit, start leaving a cage for another cage with about five seconds left on that cage (assuming you head in the right direction). That way, you can pick up all of the power-ups and health/turbo regeneration icons on the way and in the next cage before everybody else. After all, those five seconds would be used up going from cage to cage anyway.
You think that one is hard? Wait till you try the racing level (at least that one is really fun, although a bit frustrating at times).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were referring to the cage level that I was talking to Trojan about.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)
I've been hard at work playing this game online, and am now at Level 13. Only a few more levels before I can start unlocking Tier 2 vehicles like Sweet Tooth, Reaper, Axel, and Talon.
I didn't even want to put the controller down right now. Unfortunately, like most humans, I have to eat.Last edited by Blzer; 02-19-2012, 01:15 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)
Got to Level 16! I unlocked Reaper. He is a ton of fun to try and perfect his flaming chainsaw tactic online, but you're almost a one-and-done with him, because once you go after somebody, everybody goes after you... and you die very, very easily.
However, he takes so little damage in general and his chainsaw gives off so much, that even at a K/D around 1:1, you'll probably get the top spot just for the damage difference. It's really fun.
However, ever since getting to Level 16, I haven't really been earning more XP. After every game it keeps saying that I've increased my ranking just like the first time that I did, and it's been three games since then, without the bar having moved. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)
Flawless, I can't believe I don't have you on PSN. I'm not home right now, but when I get back I'm adding you ASAP.
Is there anybody else who was a part of the pre-release party who is getting this game? I feel like there was a lot more commitment to play before the game came out, and now it seems only a few of you guys have purchased it. That, or I just don't have your PSN name.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Twisted Metal (PS3)
I wasn't part of the pre-release party but feel free to add me anyway. I've not been able to join a single game as part of a party yet, hopefully they get a patch up soon. Other than that I'm really enjoying the game.Lux y VeritasComment
