Anyone heard about the glitch that breaks the game during Isabela's recruitment? I guess you can't enter the last room sometimes to finish it and she just stands there. My brother told me about it and said Bioware was looking into it as of 3 days ago. I haven't done that quest yet but was wondering if others had experienced it.

Happened to me, all you have to do is restart the mission from the auto save. When you kill the first set of people wait until she says search the bodies before you pick up the quest item. The glitch occurs when you pick up the loot to soon

Also does anyone know how to upgrade parties armor? Can you buy it or does it just go up according to story progression.

so far no........Only thing I was able to upgrade was weapons, belts, amulets and rings.

You can buy stuff from the shops for your party. I think it's armor. When you buy it it says it's for a certain person.

Felt so good to kill the Arishok. Been waiting to do that the entire game since I met that jackass. I think Sten left a bad impression on me from Origins, since I hated him and pretty much hate every Qunari I see.

Just beat the game......52 hours long for me, did all the side quests except for 3.

OMG the final battle of the game was like DAMN !!!!!!!!!!!!

Freaking Anders blows up the Chantry, causing a civil war between the templars and mages. Then the Commander of the Templars Meredith declares open season on all mages, kill them all. Then you are forced to decide to join her or the mages.

For me it was hard because my sister was part of the circle. However I joined the templars anyway, since I knew from playing the game, killing Templars are hard as hell.

I ended up killing Anders......My party of Avellene, Merrill and Fenris tore through those mages like a hot knife through butter. Merrill is pretty damn good when you level up her elemental tree. I was raining fireballs on their arses.

Then got to the point where I found out the 1st Enchanter was behind the death of my mom, then he transforms into thiis HUGE monster. By this time Bethany finally leaves his side. Using Merrill again I was raining down fireballs once again. 1st Enchanter came back to life like 4 times and crap, I was like DAMNNNNNNNNNNNN.

After that Meredith tries to kill my mage sister Bethany, I told her to back off, then she says I will wait for you outside. I am thinking all is well.. Step outside courtyard is full of templars, got me surrounded. Meredith says kill them all, however the 1st LT of the Templars says wait a minute, I thought we were just going to arrest them.

Then you find out it was Meredith who bought that idol from the Deep Roads 9 years ago. The idol transformed into this huge sword, then Meredith goes beserk calling everybody a traitor and she will kill everybody.

By this time I have Bethany back in my group, 1st time in 7 years, I missed her so much LOL. Soon I got control of her the LEVEL up chime happened, then I seen I had 24 attributes and 12 ability points for her, I was like SWEET. Turned that bitch into a death dealer, full blown elemental and arcane master with some healing mixed in there.

Gave Bethany arcane shield, she became untouchable then LOL. Meredith was hard as hell to beat. She comes back from the dead twice, then jumps on to this stair case and turns those huge bnonze statues you see all around the city to life. So therefore you had to fight 20 foot high bronze statues.....I was like SMH.

It had to have been 12 or 15 of those bronze statues. I pretty much beat them with Bethany alone. Everybody elses swords and crap coudln't even put a dent in their health at all.

Then Meredith comes back down, you have to fight her some more. She revives herself 2 more times, doing massive attacks that leaves everybody stunned but Avellene.

And why ? Because I leveled up her Guardian chained to the max. And the last ability on that chain is something called Immdomintable or something like that, but that ability keeps her from being stunned. She also have another ability on her chain called thick skin that pretty much make her hard to lose health. Enemy has to hit her 30 times before she loses a 1% of health.

At the end of the day it was just Bethany and Avellene still standing, all the males in my group got wiped out. I was thinking wow these some bad bitches LMAO.

Then after that the templars come back, don't know where the hell they went, but they so didn't help fight their commander. But anyway they all bow down to Hawk.

Cut scene back to Varic and the Seeker. Seeker says oh so it wasn't Hawk, it was Meredith behind this huge war. Apparently after Anders blew up the Chantry, it started a world wide war between all the mages and templars everywhere.

The world was in chaos and they wanted Hawk's help. Varic said well he is gone and I don't know where he is, but he isn't dead.

Over all pretty good game, got my money's worth.

Can't compare OS to other sites. We formulate well thought out opinions rather than just saying whatever goes.

As far as the game goes, maybe everybody here likes it. I have not beat it yet, but so far I am liking it. My opinions could change after I get further in.

I think alot of people wanted it to be like the first but with better graphics. I love this one because the story seems to be more personal. I don't mind the little changes.

While this game is different than the first one I think its a good thing. DAO was one of the best games out there IMO and so far with 13 hours played this game is really good. Is it better than DAO? So far no but that doesnt make it a bad game.

They are in the crafting supplies (or whatever) category of shops, along with runes, recipes, backpacks, etc.

What you're running into is people who hate the stream lining of RPGs, and the PC crowd who think the game was designed with the console too much in my mind.

I think my biggest gripes are a lack of the isometric camera on PC. It would make targeting some spells somuch easier when the person is off camera. And while I like that simply having upgradable armor for companions allows them to keep awesome character design, I do miss simply being able to outfit them with any piece of armor I find. It makes a portion of the stuff I pick up straight vendor trash.

Is Origins a better game than this? Yes, probably. But this is still an excellent game. The storytelling and dialogue are yet again top notch and the combat while different is still fun. I did prefer the loot in Origins though.
