I thought that's how COD always did it. That is, unless you were comparing it to previous Battlefield games.

I'm still hung up on which of the two big FPS games to get this October. I really want to get BF3, but my fallbacks so far are 30 FPS instead of 60, no Legacy-like control scheme as far as I can tell, and not many of my friends will be getting it for PS3 either.

Have you played Bad Company 2? That also ran at 30 FPS, so if you had no issues playing that game, you shouldn't worry about this since it should be more of the same.

I played it. I have problems with any game in 30 FPS, including KillZone, Uncharted, GTA... you name it. It's a major drawback in what would really help the game look much better. Unfortunately, for something like Battlefield, that would mean omitting a lot of detail to maintain 60 FPS on console versions. It's just the nature of the beast. Normally I can look past it, but after seeing what the PC version of this game does, I just feel spoiled through videos alone.

I'll have to get it in my hands through a demo or something to be certain on how important it will really be for me.

I'm glad they are slower! BF2 they were way overpowered...those SAMS couldn't even hit one of those jets flying by...

any news on customizing how the player looks? Battlefield Play4Free we could customize our soldiers look...for a price though...

In BC2 it was all done by class. Once you unlock an item, you can use it on any gun in the class.

The graphics in this game are unreal... I recreated this from a new in game screen shot from the PC build.

Any final word on Move support on the PS3 version? I'm assuming it's not going to happen based on the deafening silence, but I haven't seen anything despite about 30 minutes of vigorous searching.

I can`t freaking wait for this game. There are a lot of great games coming out this fall but nothing tops this game in terms of anticipation. I am still playing BF2 quite a bit and I can`t imagine how great this game is going to be. Hopefully game of the year for me.
