I bet some of those comments were aimed towards me.. I understand the purpose of a beta and I do think it is great, but with the release coming up so soon it concerns me. If we were playing this beta a month ago then everything would be fantastic. Whether or not they clean up the bugs remains to be seen, but I will be buying day one.

It was aimed at everyone who thinks that the sky is falling over a few beta bugs.

I am not concerned at all.

This is just to stress test their Battlelog with a stripped down several month old version of the game.

Final code will be way more refined, but as with all games it will have it's launch quirks. The venerable Gears 3 is having some issues here and there as well I am reading. All the CoD's have them, as well as others.

I am sticking with this game... teamplay on the PC is JUST what I expected. It is there, and there in full force no matter what server I go on.

We will own house in OS squads on the console versions.

Business as usual. The vehicles are going to be insane!

There's no way I'm passing this up come release day. I was going to wait for my new PC, but the job market is still limited so picking this up on the PS3 will be my best option. The graphics are really good, the gameplay is nearly spot on, and the sounds are amazing. There are a lot of glitches that I've noticed, but nothing that I would be disappointed in if I dropped $60.

The game is good at creating the environment. I don't want to get into a CoD vs. BF war, but Battlefield does a much better job at making it feel like a true battle. My first match was when the defending team is on its last station, so I set up my machine gun behind a staircase while a number of my teammates were at the entrance and a sniper was further back. All of a sudden, a number of their guys run for the exit and we mow most of them down throwing grenades and suppressing fire. We smoked them good, and when it was over with, all you could hear was a French ambulance going off in the distance. That's the environment this game creates.

I've never been good at these types of games, but if anybody from OpSports would like to play with me, my PSN tag is TexManZero. I'm all about teamwork, so if you see me and need somebody to give support, I'll be there. (I'm going to be gone this weekend on vacation though. Past Monday, I should be good)

I'm in the same boat as you. I was always planning on getting BF3, but now I am for sure putting in my pre-order this week. Despite the bugs the beta has me hooked as I expected. Also I have some of my friends on xbox who normally are COD people that are going to pick up BF3 now for sure as well.
