You get points for everyone your gunner kills. Although, I feel like they should have a transport reward. Like if you fly from the base to the objective and a guy jumps out. That helped get him there quickly and safely, plus you risked your life to fly over a dangerous area of the map.

I got points for it, but none of them went towards my helicopter vehicle points. That was in fact the only way I got points.

Servers down or me as well, no surprise. Seemed to be working ok and then I (along with everyone else, I suppose) got disconnected and it hasn't been up since.

I didn't play much Bad Company 2, so this is all kind of new for me. I'm enjoying it, but I'm still figuring out everything I should be doing and where to be. I'll get there, but I'd love to get in some more games with decent squads. That's been hit or miss for me.

Doesn't seem too deserved with how they're handling the servers right now.

What great irony. Fans support EA/DICE by buying the product, EA/DICE returns the favor by not supporting the fans.

Yup, cause this does not happen with every major online title out there or anything.



It is the internet... the sooner the "entitled" realize the variables at play... and no matter what you do you can not be perfect... the better off you will be with that stressful aspect of this short life we live.

It is the internet... the sooner the "entitled" realize the variables at play... and no matter what you do you can not be perfect... the better off you will be with that stressful aspect of this short life we live.

It doesn't happen with every major online title. Most? Sure. But certainly not every.

And just because it's common doesn't mean it's acceptable.

What's stressful is when I drop $60 on a game promising an amazing multiplayer experience (on its own disc no less) and spend more time staring at a screen telling me that I can't connect to EA than actually playing the game.

This game is amazing. I really can honestly say it lived up to my hype. It looks good, sounds amazingly realistic, and plays great. Can't complain really. The servers are a bit annoying, but nowhere near as bad as BC2's release.

Well said Enigma, server deployment and maintenance, especially on a large scale for a title like this, isn't as easy as flipping a switch. And most if not all big titles with a major mp component tend to have some rough spots at launch. Mkoz has apparently never played an MMO at launch ever.

Just finished a couple PC rounds. Now I'm back to watching the World Series.


EDIT: Is there anyway to switch teams once you've joined a server? I've joined a server seeing that an OSer is on it, but I keep ending up on the other team.
