If you're coming from A side, there's three ways back into the station.

One is through the main entrance and the other is those side doors, all of which bottlekneck back into the same little cooridor. If you have a hundred guys laying down fire as you're trying to get back out of the spawn, I don't give a damn how much smoke you lay down, when they have spawn beacons and medics working together.. you're not getting through there.

edit: I do suppose if it was a group of people working together, it would be a little easier to accomplish.

I've seen it work on the other spawn, just need to use explosives to get guys backed up and then watch the doors so they cant flank back around. Engineers in BF3 arent using the rockets as much, even if there are vehicle maps.

A single squad of friends really outweighs the other team, its definitely possible without having the entire time pushing in the same direction.

I just LOVE arming the MCOM, planting C4 on it, and detonating it as soon as someone starts to defuse it!

Yep it involves getting a squad together and joining session in progress. Probably wont be able to pick what map to start on but oh well.

Basically I'll try to explain it so PS3 users can do it. Someone starts up a squad of 4 or so people and makes a party chat up. He then invited at least 1 person from every other squad into his party for communication reasons. (PS3 doesn't have party chat I think so you could just message them) Well the one who is starting everything decides whether to play CQ, Rush, TDM, etc based off everyone else and goes to the server browser and filters to the game mode they would like (I recommend turning all maps on, it's a lot easier). Make sure you select the lowest amount of players in a game under the filter options, I'm pretty sure it's like 0-5 or something then join a server that pops up with 0 of 24 people in it.

Once you join your squad should follow, you then have the leaders from the other squads join your session in progress. As many as you want. . If you had 24 OSers online you could get a whole game full of them. The reason I said you need at least 8 people for this to work is you need 8 people in the match to have it start. Then you just start a party chat or game (I prefer party) for your squad and let the OS madness begin.

I hope I didn't lose anyone. Lol.

Battlefield
A new Battlefield 3 Xbox 360/PS3 server patch will be deploying at 1AM PST tonight addressing lag/rubber-banding, TDM/SQDM spawn point optimization, and various crashes.

I was at Caspian Border doing work in the tank. Took out 5-6 tanks, 3-4 jeeps and got an assist on taking down a helicopter. On the second set of M-Coms, I'm knocking out a tank near B. I destroy it, and then get hit with an RPG while I'm backing up. I blow the guy away and back out into a protected part to repair my tank. At this point, I'm leading the team in points by at least 700 and keeping the other team at bay pretty easily.

Idiot squadmate decides to walk over while I'm trying to repair the tank and drives off with it before I even finish. I'm already mad at that point because he took my tank that I was dominating in. This is the same idiot I noticed earlier that had crashed a helicopter we took and crashed our plane twice. Not got shot down, but just crashed in the most idiotic ways without doing a damn thing. So what does this guy do? He proceeds to drive the tank to the middle of the open road, gets no kills, and gets hammered till the thing blows up.

We had them on the ropes and somehow managed to get overwhelmed after that, we got them down to one ticket and we still lost the last M-Com I was protecting. Some people on this game are just stupid I swear.

Those people drive me crazy. My friend I play with makes fun of my tank driving all the time because I am so cautious, but I'm just being safe. The tank is not meant to be used close quarters. Once you get too far in the RPG's come from multiple angles and your gone. I try to stay far away and that is the reason I usually can go 15+ kills a game and 0-3 deaths a game using only the tanks.

Conquest on Operation Metro is an extremely poorly designed map. Period. It redefines the term bottleneck.

I'm not a fan of Conquest on Damavand Peak for the same reason. Everything funnels into that center tunnel.

Someone perfectly explained earlier that even the liner conquest maps on BC2 were spread out further and gave you more options to advance. One example of that on BF3 is Grand Bazaar. The battle for B is intense, but you can get to A and C without running through B.

I love this game but stuff like this makes me want to stop playing and play exclusively with OSers.

I still haven't figured out if its a bad thing, or a testament to how good this game is that the most infuriating thing about it is the idiots who play it and nothing to do with the way the game is made.

Good point, also a Infrared scope for a Shotgun?
I just unlocked that for my shotgun.
