Re: Battlefield 3
(i sent this to some of you on 360)
If you play a game that you want others to eventually be able to join in on, play on an official DICE server. They allow people to queue up to get into the server which is way easier than having to keep checking if you can join session or having guys send you an invite then have the spot taken before you get in. Not sure if this is applicable on PS3 or PC but it's worth a shot.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm sorry PS3 guys, I had to bail.
I wish I had a way of recording some things. I was just flying a jet and doing a little bit of work (im not that great with one) and I get hit and have to eject. I drop out and pull the chute and whip out my rpg and take out a tank directly below me.. pretty cool stuff.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I enjoy battlefield but I know what you mean. I think their is just too much stuff that is making the experience frustrating for me. I think some of the choices Dice made when creating the game has hurt it and made it less fun. I'll continue to play but just not as much as I thought I would."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Battlefield 3
Anyone having technical difficulties? I have it for PS3.
During the first campaign mission, when you follow the wire, I got some anti-aliasing problems down in that basement...the whole thing turned to modern art.
And in a MP match on Tehran just now, my system went completely dark although the power indicator stayed blue and green. Had to force shutdown with the switch. Now playing

Re: Battlefield 3
Little moments during a large map like that keep the game from getting stale like other shooters to me. I watched a tank last night try maneuver through my minefield that was scattered at the checkpoint in Caspian Border, he managed to hit 3 mines and the guy that bailed was taken out by the 4th one that was set off.Aaron

Re: Battlefield 3
At this point I'd say Dice would have been better off leaving out the TDM mode altogether, than having it the way it currently is.
I play some TDM when none of my friends are on for objective modes, or I just want to Rank up a new gun I unlocked and get some attachments for it, and the Spawning system in it is just that bad. Plus the maps are very imbalanced, they take a sector of a Rush/Conquest map and there are obvious power positions that give one side a great advantage. Like for instance on Kharg Island if you control the Warehouse you pretty much win because you have a great view of most of the map and people spawn outside the Warehouse and try to come in, and you just pick them off. On Noshahr Canals if you control the High Ground with the railroad tracks you have a great aerial view and can just take out people as they spawn below you.Last edited by Feared; 11-06-2011, 01:07 PM.Minnesota Vikings
