Same issue, haven't been able to login all day

Okay so I'm not the only one... I logged on this morning and got a match in, had to do something so I logged out, now this.

I'm CONVINCED that skill level has a ton to do with how long you stay alive. If you look at the leaderboards you'll see that the top skill level guys have games with 2 kills 0 deaths. My skill level is at 223 which is highest compared to the people I run with. I usually live a lot longer than they do, but they have better K/D ratio's than me. It seems going 30-22 is worse than going 3-0 in that system.

No way cause like I said earlier in this topic, I went around 25-2 with over 6000 points with about a 3000 point lead over the next along with the win and i got -skill whereas I went 12-8 with a loss and finished in the middle of my team and received +skill. Whoever said it's based on the skills of others in the game, I would had to agree. I have those dominant games with average players, but I'm an average player in those loaded games. I'm not fully buying it, but I would have to say the level of competition is a factor.

Anybody else constantly having the game freeze on them?

Yes I am on the PS3 and I just downloaded the B2K pack and in my first game it froze and I had to restart my console. I checked the web to see if this is a problem and unfortunately it definitely is for a lot of people.

I then started just playing on the regular maps and had no problems once so ever. I am going to wait until Dice/EA fixes this problem before I play on any of the new maps. I just bought my PS3 and I don't want it locking up like that.

Having never played a Battlefield game before, this game is quite intimidating for a newbie. Right now I have no idea what I am doing

I hear you. The only battlefield game I ever played was 1942 for the PC. Coming from COD to this is crazy. The team aspect that this game has is so much more rewarding than anything I've done in COD. Laying down suppressing fire as a couple of your teammates storm an objective is unbelievably satisfying. Using an EOD bot to sneak into and subsequently detonate an objective is also on that level.

The thing that sets this game apart from the others is how being a bit player is just as important as the guy at the top of the K/D ratio. Sure, you can have guys that kill a bunch of people, but they won't be any match in the battle when you have a squad working together to take an objective against a disorganized defense.

I've been playing for a few weeks and I'm mediocre at best....and still don't really know what I'm doing half the time

*** **** Origin.... all a sudden my p/w doesn't work, so I reset it and then a box comes up saying "password server is not working right now, try again later".

Finally get it to go through, p/w is reset, email confirmation.

Try to login and Origin goes back to your p/w is not correct. LOL. Try to reset again and "password server is not working right now, try again later".

Yeah, seems like a ton of people are getting this. I managed to get on a couple servers for a few minutes, but Orgin ended up closing or crashing or something, and now I'm having the same problem. Not fun at all.

I pre-ordered for PS3 but traded it in, then bought for the PC via Origin's cybermonday sale.

I wonder if EA could be convinced to demonstrate they are not the evil money grubbers they are always accused of being, by giving me the Karkand pack my preorder entitled me to, for my PC copy?

I kept spawning tonight with my other class builds, come across a vehicle only to realize I had no c4 in my loadouts. I didn't realize this until I was in the middle of the road face to face with the vehicles.

After playing a bit today and tonight, I think Sharqi Peninsula is my favorite new map. Definitely the map I've had the most fun on so far.

Check out the top players recent games though. All of em are like 1-0 3-0 at the most using the snipe rifle. They many times have less than 1000 points.

I still haven't had a server play that map. I keep trying to join one only to join at the intermission screen before a new map starts

Updated both the Map pack and the "update". It keeps login me out whenever I join a match! ugh.. anyone 360 users dealing with this?
