But the Back to Karkland gun is just as bad. Everyone will just switch over to using that thing.

I have played a lil bit of hardcore the last couple days and starting to favor it over regular.

I also want frags from shotguns just completely removed!

PSN is down today until 11 PM PST...but I remember last time it was up at like 4-ish EST which is 1 PM PST

I randomly figured out that you can take off enemy c4's on a vehicle by walking up to them and holding square.

Here's what I think happened. We killed the guy running up and planted 3 c4 on our tank. His class was laying near the tank...i may have grabbed his class unknowingly when I walked up to the tank and it told me to hold square. Then one of the c4's disappeared, so I did it again and again then no more c4's...but here's the strange part I was engineer the whole time(meaning I still had my weapon) until I picked up the last c4 and then all of a sudden my gun changed to whatever the guy we killed left behind.

So I don't know maybe engineers can remove c4s or not but I will experiment with this.

In my experience I couldn't remove c4 while being engineer.

I thought of that a while ago. My thinking was that it would be just like the mines that you can pick up only as an engineer. So when the guy planted the c4, I got out and killed him and then tried repeatedly to pick off the c4 only to have the guy detonate as I was trying. Lol

Maybe its only if you are the Support class that you can remove the c4. And the reason that you saw your own gun is because it kept switching you back and forth between the engineer and support class because you kept holding the square button while trying to remove the c4.

Also, true story happened last night. I got in a jeep and was just patrolling back and forth on flag A on Sharqi Penninsula(?) because the entire other team couldn't spawn anywhere else except the deployment at the time, and we started getting hit by a USAS-12 with frags that eventually disabled the jeep.

Only it wasn't USAS-12 it was an LAV. That's how ridiculous that gun is, I actually thought the LAV shells or whatever were USAS-12 frag rounds

It's sad that that is an easy mistake to make.

I got my first real good 'look' at USAS frag rounds at Metro one night. I was at B, over by the top of the escalators in the corner, looking across at the other side set of stairs that comes up alongside the locker room. There was a dude over there on those stairs, peeking over and blasting his USASw/frags and it was like one of those damn armored vehicles being parked over there. Looked and sounded kinda like one, and the rounds have a BIG dispersal, sheesh.

Well, glad they plan to do SOMETHING about it. Annoying as hell but thank goodness not a complete game-wrecker, at least in my experience. Possibly the most unbalanced gun I've seen since non-nerfed akimbo shotguns in MW2, LOL.

Just an update, I am not messing with gamebattles until what ever problem they are having is resolved. Out of no where the whole team with the exception of fatleg3 and jnes are ineligible. For no reason at all. So since we're going to be focusing on random opponents there's no reason to mess with it.

Plus a lot of our schedules are hectic to where we( as a team) would probably struggle to keep up with a GB match schedule anyways.

The MK3A1 is just as bad if not worse. Understanding that gun is less used now only because you have to unlock via the "Scarred Veteran" assignment. Once more people unlock it, its prowess will be just as well known as the USAS. I agree that frag rounds in general seem to be the problem, not the weapons.

I'm fairly certain if you are a support class you can remove any C4. I know when I place C4 as a support guy, I can just pick it back up if I feel so inclined. I imagine with the support class you can then pick up other people's C4, at least in theory it should work that way.

What time you guys getting on? According to the PS website PSN is down until 11 PM PST (so 2 AM EST). I haven't tried it yet but is it still down?
