I work 3rd shift so I usually have to get off around 10:30 p.m. or earlier. We had a terrible team. I kinda figured it wasn't going to end well.

Me and a few buddies own it. The admins are myself, Archangel Joe, oxFlergenxo, and Homie Da Clown.

It's all CQ. And the ticket number is at 200%

We noticed.

R2 accelerates L2 decelerates...just keep your nose out of the ground using the sticks. pull up with right stick while holding the r2 so you dont stall...when first taking off. When your learning make sure you get some altitude so you can experiment with the controls to have less a chance of crashing immediately

I think I'm getting my accuracy back. Played more last night. But I might stick to maps without flying vehicles. They seem to dominate even more now...which I don't understand why. But I get killed by them more than anything. I'm tired of being killed when I spawn by a dbag in an attack chopper, I'm tired of my tank blowing up seconds after I get into it by a jet. I would take the USAS Frag rounds a MILLION times over the flying vehicles.

I'm really looking forward to the CQB maps. When those come out I will be playing this game constantly.

I think I'm getting my accuracy back. Played more last night. But I might stick to maps without flying vehicles. They seem to dominate even more now...which I don't understand why. Jistic, hilarious that we were on that server last night. I was thinking how good the other team was and wondering if the patch was just gonna make me quit playing. I kept getting killed and trying to plant and there were just always dudes around. I was thinking how organized the other team was. Then I looked at the scoreboard after I kept getting owned and realized we were playing a game against a clan. I then get a message from Jistic and he was all "Why are we playing a clan?!". I laughed so hard. I still ended up finishing #1 on our team, but not sure I was positive in K/D. Lol.

I am getting my accuracy back as well, I think. I've switched to the F2000 and had some success, so maybe I'll find a setup I'll like. But man, Tanks and other ground vehicles are certainly not as valuable as they are really easy to destroy with Javelin's and RPG's now.

Also, I don't like these new servers. There, I said it. I don't like people being able to kick me out or basically stack the odds in their favor. Seems like people are quitting more now if they are going to lose. I basically can't use the quick match option anymore because I get thrown into crazy private servers and I don't know the rules or the tickets. Plus it may be some kind of clan match (like last night). Maybe I'll come around when I get a little better, but I'm frustrated right now and it's making me not want to play as much.

Flying choppers are hard. I can barely keep the Vipers, Havocs, Little Birds, and Z-11s in the air without crashing, even though I can keep a jet in the air a whole round

Mikenoob can fly the **** of the heli's...i wanted to ask him but didnt have the voice thingy on.

dont know how long my adventures with flying will be my patience is wearing thin

Like I said, just find an empty unranked sever and you can fly all you want to practice... I can fly one pretty decent and land on buildings, etc. However, I couldn't begin to explain how to do it..

I love flying choppers at caspian. If a jet or chopper wants to take me out, they can come chase me through a forest. Usually, I get a guy who can't fly try, chase me and they just fly right into a tree.

I was getting sick of that small team I was on. They both kept spawning and sitting at the chopper spawn when there was like 5 on each side. I just happened to spawn in the chopper right after I died as it came back, dude just takes it and crashes into the mountain. Respawn and wait once again. I just decided to try out some jets after that. No way of winning if half the team sits at chopper spawn yet doesn't even use it effectively and would rather chase down jets then another chopper.

There's one guy in AxW who's probably the best chopper pilot on PS3. He used to be in RaW, but half the clan split into AxW. I don't know if you guys played BC2 and ran into him or anything, he was just too good. I believe he was the first one to hit the top rank on BC2 too and by a large margin. I don't know what his new name on AxW is, but he was Incredible_RaW.

Yes, it's difficult to 'quick match' anymore. I guess we'll have to server browse from now on?

I never quick match. Just set up your preferences and go from there.

Quick match also stacks teams with players based on the extremely flawed "skill" stat so you could be a team full of rank 3's against a team of colonels

Although I haven't played enough to make a fully informed opinion, so far I can't say I am enjoying the game post patch. The hitreg seems a lot worse (independent of foregrip and suppression), everybody is using the M26 Mass now as that appears to be the new overpowered weapon of choice, and it's close to impossible to take out a chopper that has ECM enabled. Wtf is the point of even putting the Stinger in the game? You are better off shooting RPG's now
