Re: Battlefield 3
A patch goes live tomorrow.
We have been busy making some welcome fixes for our PlayStation 3 players, fine tuning a lot of weapons based on your feedback, and tweaking some gameplay mechanics. This update goes live November 27 on consoles, and no later than December 4 on PC. Full details below, including how to download this …Comment

The biggest change seems to be the gunship change. I havent even used the gunship ONCE since AK has been out. So I didnt know that it had the special optics. I would think the removal of that will drastically change the effectiveness of the gunship.
Cant wait for tomorrow though. Aftermath seems like it will be awesome.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The incoming patch is actually pretty big for PS3 players. Fixing input lag and the stagnant audio issues are major improvements. For me, personally, if they have actually fixed the audio dropouts this time around, I will be supremely happy.
That said I won't hold my breath until I see the issue resolved, but I'm glad they are at least trying to fix it. I'm also looking forward to Aftermath tomorrow (or whenever I get to play it). AK was a bit of a letdown for me.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm thinking of getting BF3 Premium for the PC. Played it on the xbox a while ago, but now it might be time for me to get back into it and play the game with large numbers of people the way it's supposed to be played.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

NFL: Minnesota Vikings
MLB: Chicago CubsComment

Re: Battlefield 3
I can't believe they are still balancing the weapons after a year. DICE needs to realize, there is no perfect balance.
Anyways, I dusted off the boots for 1/2 hour last week and got owned. I may need to try again and play the new maps I payed for.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Yep. After one of the other patches when they claimed to have fixed it, the dropouts actually got worse. I would lose sound for a few minutes before, and could sometimes fix it by firing my weapon. Now the sound just goes until the match is over, although the problem may be isolated to only a few different maps.Comment

I'm thinking of picking up either BF3 Premium or Black Ops II... But need some help.
