Good games last night 360 brethren, had a blast as usual. Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys last night. I usually have a mic but for some reason it just did not want to connect last night. Can't count how many times at Damavand I'm yelling "coming down the hill near B" only to have the dog look at me like who the f you talking to?! And me shaking my head. I think I was able to get about 5 games in with the OS crew before having to cut out. I wish more folks were on a little earlier because having to be at work 8:30 really sucks when you hit the sack past midnight. It seems like I used to be able to pull that off but after hitting that mid 30s mark, it doesn't seem to work like it used to, LOL.

You guys were killing machines as usual. You mofos went absolute HAM on that first round of Bazaar! I'm still doing what I can to get better lol. I feel like I'm always a step slow and whatever weapon I have is never as powerful as my opponent. On Damavand I felt like I would basically unload an entire clip and yet seemed like I would get killed with 4 bullets and a brisk breeze from the tunnel
Don't know if I'm not quick enough on the trigger, if it's my choice of weapon or maybe the ole hand-eye coordination isn't what it used to be, but any advice is welcomed.

On the console debate, I can't say who would win the console vs console battle (IMO 360 has some really good/great players though), but you best believe Sixty5South is gonna be in there holding down the bottom of somebody's scoreboard!

          Re: Battlefield 3

The PS3 just had more people to fall back on.

I would squad up with Nuni, Koolie, TMagic, Shak3, KT, Sixty5, or whoever else and would be willing to take on anyone.

I feel the same about the PS3 side.

I loved the glory days of the PS3, but I also had a lot of fun down the stretch playing with Chizzy, Cove, TMagic, and Don late at night.

I think my game has really grown from my switch from the PS3 to the 360, especially vehicle related. I know it's weird, but I think having to start over from scratch is good for you. It helps you appreciate all weapons in the game. We joke about 100 colonels, but if we keep on, Koolie will be there soon LOL.

I know we had BD on the PS3 clan who was 100 colonel. I have no ****ing idea how he got that high.

I keep saying I'm going PC for the next Battlefield, but in all honesty, I like the guys I've been playing with too much not to get it for console.

edit: had to edit. I typed it out twice when my PC crashed and didn't realize I typed it two different ways. The second version looked better

I feel your pain bro, especially with the dumping of bullets on others why getting shot with 2 of theirs and dying. My only reasoning is lag on my end, or they are getting headshots on me. I counted a number of times where I would unload about 6 bullets with the G3 or M4 and I would die with 2 bullets of theirs. It would show them with 40% health. I was like WTH?

You guys come in talking about "we're back" and "where's everyone at" and wanting to rehash some old Battlefield memories and then you'll be gone again as quick as you came... wives, jobs, kids, etc. are not as important as Battlefield.

It's not like I could add Authentic to PSN anyways. He's just going to change his name in a few days and then sell his PS3.

Anyone who's played Battlefield extensively can pick it back up and be good in a short period of time. I get the feeling that if the 360 side ran rampant on the PS3 side there would be excuses flying around everywhere

Lol, I cannot call who would win in a console battle but us on the ps3 side were very formidable at one point in time. When we were able to get a lot of us on one server we rarely lost. I agree with you Chase after not playing for a while in a game or 2 I was back in form. When I do play now it is just not the same compared to how it was in the past. I mostly play rush and if you do not have competent teammates you are bound to lose, and I still do not understand why no one uses mics in this game. On COD where you don't need them everyone has a mic, but in this game where you need to strategize no one uses a mic...

The only thing I've been able to chalk this up to is the age difference.

I know some younger kids play Battlefield, but it's mostly people who are at least 18 or older and are a bit more mature.

Most people in their late 20s,30s, etc. don't care about chatting with a bunch of people on the internet, but a 12 year old kid playing COD loves the idea of it..

Most people you encounter who do have a mic on Battlefield are easy to work with and talk to. When I was playing BO2, I went through and muted the entire lobby in the pre game screen.

I felt bad after that round how everyone was destroying, but we never let you get in on the action it seemed.

Battlelog is a free social platform that ties into Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3 and lets you socialize, track stats, plan your next game, and more from your web browser!

But it was no worries, I think you were recon at the time and we had me, Chase, and kt just hammering away as Assault at them so there wasn't much left over to pick off.

Especially with me being a troll and running into that room they were hiding in to mop them up. Couldn't stop laughing at myself because they all seemed too shocked that someone ran into their spawn to even react to me unloading on them.

Also, I think I need a Lt. Dan on the XBOX side. I find myself dying from running out of both primary and secondary ammo and dumb teammates don't know to throw ammo so i'm wandering around trying to paddy cake people...

I just need someone to attach an ammo crate to my back.

EDIT: Also, I agree on the mic aspect. Usually nuni has one but sometimes he just hates the other OSers and doesn't want to talk to us. I don't like playing without one at this point, so when all the other OSers have them it's so much smoother.

Then I get to hear the ol' "What in the hell is-oh....Koolie and nuni are back there together. Don't bother." from kt.

I jumped on late last night and signed in and it said "you have 20 friends online". I was like, man that's a lot for this late. Then I get the "you have 10 friends playing Battlefield"message. Wow, that was crazy, I got all excited and was pumped to join in and kill a few. So I join up and I see Nuni in my squad and then I go to the menu to see the other squads because I figured nuni was just the odd man out. Kinda. He was the odd man out on a team, not on a squad. It was Nuni and me and a bunch of idiots on our team, against all the OSers on the other team. The first person I see I killed, it was Shake and I thought, here we go I'm gonna dominate these fools...nope, he pretty much owned me the rest of the map. Everytime I would spawn on someone he or Chase would be right there to kill me before I could even figure out where I was. Then 65South is laying in a wall between two big crates just waiting for someone to run by. He was in the very back of where I could even get to, so I figured nobody would be all the way back there. He was and he killed me. Then after that game, everybody quit. So Chase and I played a couple more rounds that we dominated. I wish I had gotten on earlier.
