Do you guys always play on the same server? Playing with randoms got old last night and I don't think I have many of you on my friends list on XBL.

We play on different servers all the time. There are several guys that play most nights. It's something I look forward to every night. My gamertag is Koolie G, add me. I would list everyone's GT, but I'd probably get them wrong.

Another good night for the OS squad last night.

I was chasing this dude last night for a long time trying to get his tags. I was just about to catch up to him and he went around a corner. I run around the corner and I see a tank on fire and then it blows up and kills me. That dude planted C4 on the Tank, and then continued running and blew up the tank and got me in the process. He never even knew how close he was to death, but I felt stupid for following him that long and then getting accidently C4'd. I'm a dummy.

I'm on almost every night.

I can't save or bookmark servers on the 360, but usually Koolie and Nuni can find a pretty solid Rush or mixed server. Every time I log in, it resets most of my settings. I always have to go into my vehicle controls and change my flight to inverted. I can't imagine how people are flying the helicopters on the defeault settings.

Hah, more like the other way around. Flying in just about any game is defaulted as pushing the right stick up makes you lean forward and vice versa. I don't know how you could fly inverted.

Unless that's the name of the setting to put the throttle on the left stick and not the triggers, then yeah, that's the best option.

I only invert the right stick/yaw.. up is up and down is down.

I know that's completely backwards from how it would be in real life, but I just can't stand flying that way in Battlefield 3. I've never messed with the settings in any other Battlefield game. Since that last patch that came a long time ago, it's extremely hard to stay in the air with a helicopter without ECM Jammers.

The only alternative is to have the driver and gunner perks set to flares and both be working together to defelect soflam/ javelins and such. Any decent pilot will not fire both of their guided rockets at you at the same time if they see you have flares. Fire once and let the flares settle and then fire a second for the disable and swoop in for the kill.

I remember the double flares working well for Chizzy and I a long time ago. We couldn't be taken out of the air because of how far up we were flying and with a mic we were able to call out "I got this one" any time someone fired an IGLA, giving plenty of time for the other person's flares to reload.

I had the same problem with it saving my loadouts. I don't know if it will work for you but one time for sake of doing something different when I was done for the night instead of just turning off my console I backed out of the server and re-entered the load out screen. Then made sure everything was how I normally have it set up, attachments and so forth. Then backed out to the main screen prior to shutting everything off. The next time I logged in my loadouts were saved.

I have no idea why this worked for me but it did.

Yeah i think thats because when you back out to the menu it does an auto save for controls, loadouts, etc.

That really did make me laugh.

I will be the worst 100* in the history of BF3.

I was telling Nuni and Chase the other night that when I see 100* or people that are 80*'s or 90*'s that I get worried about them. I hope the fact that people see me with a high rank makes them scared. I don't think it does because a guy with a 9* ranking was wearing me out last night. BTW I will just forget last night ever happened as far as BF3 goes.

It is taking me forever to level up. I finally unlocked the x12 scope for my recon class. So, suffice to say I'll take advantage tonight.

I was telling Nuni and Chase the other night that when I see 100* or people that are 80*'s or 90*'s that I get worried about them. I hope the fact that people see me with a high rank makes them scared. I don't think it does because a guy with a 9* ranking was wearing me out last night. BTW I will just forget last night ever happened as far as BF3 goes.

You should have seen Blast and I yesterday. I think you joined then backed out. The other team was full of them in close quarters. They wore us out. He and I were running around like chickens with the head cut off because each time we'd start to take an objective, they would show up instantaneously to decimate us.

Worst part about it was a lot of them were chicks. Smh.

What? They were girls? I jumped into that game with you guys and I was just getting destroyed. I was shooting those (girls) point blank and unloading entire clips and they were still not dying. Not sure if I was lagging or if it was that 100* effect, but it made me mad. Also... I was NOT lagging.

Later that night Chase and I got killed by a tank and he couldn't even see us or get a tank shell near us. It was a frustrating night where the laws of BF3 physics were against us.
