I liked both Saints Row games a lot but they don't come close to the quality of GTA. What I don't get is why people keep talking about how GTA got super serious because that's definitely not the case with GTA 4. They kept things more grounded in reality as far as physics goes but it was still over the top and hilarious as the older one's, you just couldn't fly in a jetpack or go parachuting until the Ballad of Gay Tony.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

And Valdarez I never had a problem with responsiveness so I enjoyed the game for all that its worth, sorry you couldn't have as much fun with the game. The controls in SR2 felt to weird, like when I would be driving It really doesn't feel like the vehicle is grounded(like its sliding or something). I didn't enjoy that and the character movement just did not sit well with me.
Overall for SR3 to be a fun game for me they need to take a more realistic approach to the game and the claim that their graphics match GTA4's graphics is a good indication of what they're aiming for this time around and the "less gangsta" comment. With a different feel and greatly improved graphics from the second iteration they may regain a old customer.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
None of the GTA main characters were really funny though, it was always the people around them and the people in GTA 4 are still hilarious. It seems like a lot of the people who criticize the game for being overly serious only watched that first trailer and didn't actually play the game or if they played they only did the missions and had it muted.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. re: Saints Row: The Third
In previous GTA games, I had fun with the main character, though. Niko really didn't seem like a funny guy to hang out with unless you got drunk with his cousin. There was still that kind of wacky sillyness, but it was kind of hidden in the TV programming and the radio shows and never really made its way to the main storyline. Brucie is really the only character that I thought was outright hilarious.

re: Saints Row: The Third
with 3 being set for Fall 2011, do you think Rockstar drops GTA V at the same time?
i dont see it coming out in the spring like the last one, seeing as its september and we havent heard any news on V. So it seems later in the year would be more fitting.Comment

re: Saints Row: The Third
Its a possibility I guess. If Rockstar would announce the next one for next fall I think THQ would either try to beat it to the street or delay it until spring of 2012follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Saints Row 3 Coming This Fall
THQ formally announced it will ship Saints Row 3 this coming fall. CEO Brian Farrell confirmed the news on yesterday's publisher earnings call.
"In the fall, we plan to launch the latest installment of our Saints Row franchise, which we view as a significant growth driver in fiscal 2012," he stated.
"Volition is setting a new bar for this outstanding franchise and we look forward to unveiling this game in the near future."
Additionally, Saints Row: Drive-By, first announced for the Nintendo 3DS, is also coming to Xbox Live, which will unlock items in Saints Row 3.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

There has to be some delays cause there are way too many good games coming out this year.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
