    Re: BioShock Infinite

Did anyone play Industrial Revolution before playing BioShock Infinite? Some neat rewards, I think.

BestBuy sent me a preorder code for the wrong system, so I have a PS3 Comstock Sniper Rifle code. If anyone wants it send me a PM, I'll update this post when (if) it's claimed.

I didn't like Bioshock 1 or 2 so didn't bother with this other than watching one video, thinking it looked like a not as good Dishonored and then watched the ending which did look pretty great.

I beat this game yesterday. I really liked the game at first but it started to become repetitive to me at the end. The fight the same weak guys in a area then do it two streets over got kinda boring. Not saying it is a bad game but I don't think its incredible like some people say. The world you play in and the ending was interesting though. I'd give it a 8 out of 10.

Yeah that is the only big complaint I have with this game. In the original Bioshock it felt more random and unscripted when encountering baddies. Not waves of enemies over and over.

What's everyone's favorite vigor? Undertow is mine by far. Either pulling in multiple enemies or the satisfying blast to knock them off the ledge. They all seem pretty solid though.

I use bronco to launch everyone up then use the fire one to chain it all together. I use the chaining clothes. Super easy. Whoever is alive i shoot while in air. Upgraded everything also.

I loved everything but the ending of this one. Seem like a forced mind**** and convoluted wrap to the story.

                        Spoiler

But yeah the game design was stellar. The character development was pretty good. It got hazy for me with the introduction of Elizabeth's tearing story arch and jumping between this and that but it was good use of story to affect gameplay. The change of the setting from a bright sunny utopia in the sky to slowly becoming a dark twisted nightmare was fun. Probably the best Bioshock of them all. But nothing touches that twist in the first one.

It appears I need to finish the first one. I've had about 10 people mention to me about the twist, and I have no idea what they are talking about. I'm pretty sure I'm about 60% complete, so maybe I should go back and finish that one up first then finish Infinite.

I know they aren't directly connected, but I like to keep it in order.

Yeah, BioShock 1 really surprised me. It was fun, but by the end of the game it just felt like an amazing experience. I need to get it again.
