Re: BioShock Infinite
I remember playing Bioshock 1 many years ago now!...still one of the most enjoyable and underrated games i've played on the 360!...an absolutely fantastic story that really kept me wanting to know what is going to happen next!, from memory it had some really creepy characters and stuff that all added to the emersion and gave Bioshock a unique kind of feel!...The gameplay was also pretty good and would probably still be pretty fun to play considering the evolution of video games since 2006.
I never got around to playing Bioshock 2 myself...i don't know why but the multiplayer kind of threw me of it a little, i kind of get disappointed when developers decide to add on multiplayer even if its not really necessary and people are not really interested in a multiplayer optionIm sure majority would have preferred all those man hours working on the single player campaign mode!.SpoilerBioshock 2,Assassins Creed Brotherhood/Revelations,Dead Space 2
Infinite does look really cool, and Bioshock 1 was very impressive to say the least
....would you kindly give it chance?...

Re: BioShock Infinite
This game looks incredible.
I'm playing through the first BioShock now, after buying it at launch and neglecting it. Man what a mistake that was.
Needless to say, I won't be missing out on this one.
The videos are insane and the environments look incredible. Not to mention the combat looks incredibly dynamic and the sky hook thing has me super excited at the possibilities. Cannot wait for this!Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: BioShock Infinite
..A man chooses....
To add on to what others said, I loved Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2. I am hooked to the story of Rapture and have read the prequel book. If you have not played those two, this is a perfect time to play those two, since Feb is pretty light on new games. I'm counting down the days to Bioshock Infinite and have been churning through Industrial Revolution to get my unlocks!Comment

Re: BioShock Infinite
Bioshock was my favorite game this gen, and maybe of all time (I truly believe it's that underrated). Bioshock Infinite was the game they should have been making as soon as Bioshock hit the shelves.Writer for Operation Sports

IMO not when it was released but is most likely cheap enough now to deserve a play through. The first one maybe however there was a lot of needless backtracking and it seemed that it was a simple case of enter this room and clear, rinse and repeat. The Big Daddy's did fix that problem however I found they were found to far in between and after the fist part of the game became to easy to kill. Kind of lost that fear factor. The powers however can be fun but some are just useless.Haven't played any Bioshock game. Am I missing out? I should probably get this:

Bioshock 2 you play as a Big Daddy which to me took away from you actually feeling desperate. The Big Sister also wasn't that great of a enemy either. With you being in the same environment again it also took away from the "whole new world" aspect to the game. Same statement as about first one. Should be cheap enough to warrant a play through.
I know I'm going to get chewed up about my statement but that's how I felt about the games. *puts flame suit on*PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: BioShock Infinite
Suffice to say I disagree with you. Bioshock 1 had a couple of design flaws, but the story is top notch (seriously, it could have been made into a movie with almost no dialogue changes) and the combat is incredible engaging. I didn't like Bioshock 2 as much, but that's more because I felt like it could have just been DLC. The combat and everything was just as great, but the story -- while still well written -- never felt like it needed its own game.IMO not when it was released but is most likely cheap enough now to deserve a play through. BioShock Infinite Has Gone Gold!
When we first announced BioShock Infinite, we made a promise to deliver a game that was very much a BioShock experience, and at the same time something completely different. And our commitment to making good on that promise, no matter what, has been our driving force for the last three years or so.
You, the fans, have been incredibly patient with us. You shared your hopes and wishes for the game with us, and you kept the faith.
Today, I’m happy to announce that the game has gone gold. What that means is that it has been approved by both Sony and Microsoft (and the PC Gods, natch) to be sent to the manufacturing guys to load up fleets of trucks with BioShock Infinite and be driven to a store near you on March 26th.
The total cost of the game was five years, 941 billion Klingon darseks (plus tip), 47 camels, a cranberry flan, and the blood, sweat, and tears of the Irrational Team.
Nobody has ever built a game quite like this. It’s a shooter, but a shooter that brings you to very uncomfortable and dangerous places. I can’t demand that you play the game; I can promise you, however, that once you have, it will be an experience you won’t soon forget.
Who is Booker, and what is the debt that drives him to Columbia? What are Elizabeth’s powers and why has she been locked up since she was a child? Why does Booker have the letters “AD” branded into his right hand? And what, in God’s name, is the Songbird.
Columbia is a city teeming with mystery. I’m glad to say that one mystery is over: On March 26th, you will be able to play BioShock Infinite.Last edited by Flawless; 02-19-2013, 03:27 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: BioShock Infinite
I'm a huge Bioshock fan and I got a chance to spend a substantial amount of time with Infinite this past week.
It's better than the videos can show and the new "big daddy" type guys are brutal on hard. I can't say much more than that, but I'll be surprised if Infinite has a metacritic lower than 95.Comment

Re: BioShock Infinite
I recently bought Bioshock 1 and 2 on PC. Just finished FC3 (waiting on the patch to reset the camps) and am in the middle of Dead Space 1.
Working as much OT as I can while it's available.
So hopefully by the time I am cought up on some games I can grab this at a little bit of a discount.
Once summer hits I'll have even less time so may be a year before I grab it.
Love how it's looking though!Joshua:
