That's a good call. Was there a simple "Waypoint" option in GTA IV?

Not that I know of, but then again I never looked into it. I rushed through everything when I first got gta4. I just learned a month ago you can turn off the radio lol

So when they say GTA online, do they mean multiplayer? Because some of the stuff I've read sounds like they're separating the two. So there's really 700 missions you can do with friends? Or am I understanding this wrong?

Also, as a typically non-online gamer this may be a dumb question, but will headset communication be required for certain portions of GTA Online, for certain missions and whatnot? And if I don't have a crew of online guys I know, will I just go through missions with random people?

If you're in a crew and pulling off missions with friends and stuff, I would think you'd probably want a mic of some sort so that you can communicate in case of anything going wrong and stuff.

It isn't "required", but I would highly recommend it.

You don't HAVE to have a mic, but you HAVE to have a mic...if you want the full experience IMO...I remember first getting gta4...jumping out of the chopper on the Empire State Building, i was like YES I MADE IT!!!....and then my friend blows me up with an RPG. Too funny..

When I first rented GTA IV and used my friend's 360, a large group of us had the absolute best time online the first 72 hours of release or so. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as when we did what we did in Times Square.

GTA V has some exclusive stuff for PS3 such as a headset.

You also get 75% off other Rockstar games if you pre-order on the PSN Store.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a run-down of pre-order deals?

PS4 release on November 15th means there will be plenty of time to enjoy this game.

Yeah, I still haven't reserved this anywhere. Is that a problem? I usually go to the GameStop midnight release for most games. I'm wondering if gamestop is still taking preorders and if that line will be insane...

I know I'm gonna be there as early as possible. If I'm not mistaken, GameStop takes preorders on games up until the last couple of days...

I cancelled my pre order after getting the poster.

I like to keep my options open and even though this game will sell big, I don't anticipate a shortage to where I can't pick it up somewhere back home or around Birmingham.

Between multiple FYE, Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, and Wal Mart.

I would consider pre ordering again for the right incentive, though.

That's understandable. My main reason for preordering is I have a lot of financial obligations with a part time job. So I've just been putting $5 on it every paycheck for the last few months. Yeah I'm cheap, I know....
