Does the stock market change in each individual game world or is an internet connection required? And does the market fluctuate in everyone's game? I kind of hope it does because if it does not and if it is scripted then it will take away a bit of the replay value.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
For those of you who got up to about the halfway portion of the game, maybe more so click at your own risk.
Spoilerafter the mission where trevor crashes the cropduster into that huge plane and it goes down, they mention something about scuba diving in after the gear. Did this have to be done right after the crash or could I go back later and dive into that lake and get the stuff?Go Yankees
Go Rangers
Go Giants

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
SpoilerI literally sat there for 4-5 minutes trying to figure out what to do. I ended up killing Trevor. He was fun, but I liked Michael and Franklin better. I'm not sure if I'll regret it or not, but if I do, I'll just start a new game because I could easily go through this story again.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Something I don't really see the point of on Heists. The game says that crew members' skills that you hire increase the more you use them. But if there's only a set number of heists in the game, how are their skills supposed to improve by any meaningful amount? It seems like picking the more skilled crew members would always be more worth it even though they get a higher cut.
Note: I've only done 3 so far, so please don't spoil anything for me beyond
Spoiler
the armored car hit for the FIB
with an answer.SpoilerI see it the other way around. Based on the first heist, the lower skilled guys get the job done anyways. Only difference I've noticed is the guy chooses the wrong bike, but the bike is still very capable of driving through the sewers. He doesn't give you any directions either, but you're going to be following your getaway anyways. Why do you need him to yell out which way to go? You get slightly less time to grab the jewelry, but how can you not grab them all in under 60 seconds?
The one difference I've seen is that the higher skilled gunman does not crash on his bike whereas the lower one does. That still isn't much of a problem as he drops his bag directly in front of the tunnel. I grabbed the bag by accident and still retained the loot. I've earned $1,000,000 on the first job with Michael whereas I hear some people get about 300k with all the experienced crew members.
Also, they gain 25% experience after each heist, so after one or two, they're just as good if not better than the guys who want double their cut. In the end, I just started out cheap and sure they made some very minor mistakes, but nothing that ruins the job. In the long run, I'll get a much higher payday since these guys will be very experienced without asking for a large cut.Comment

Ending:

I wasn't about to do either of the others like that and had a feeling Franklin would come up with something.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
SpoilerI chose option 3 as well. At first I thought deathwish meant that Franklin would end up dying and I would keep the other two. I liked Franklin the least, but I still stared at the options for a good amount of time until deciding to kill off Franklin. To my surprise though, neither characters died!Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Just had something insanely funny happen to me while free roaming.
SpoilerI had managed to "come across" Franklin as Michael. Franklin asked me to hang out with him for a bit so I did. After we finished, I switched over to Franklin and started following Michael in a car. He repeatedly tells me to stop stalking him. I get out of the car and walk up to him, Michael tells me "you asked for it, kid" and promptly knocks me out, sending me to the hospital. Guess he wasn't too happy that Franklin played a round of golf and watched a movie on his account (even though he did steal Franklin's car afterwards)Comment

SpoilerWell damn, that would've been a lot more fun. Looks like I'll have to play through again and make another decision.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Note to people in this thread from here on out:
Any talk of the ending of the game, or major plot points that aren't given the spoiler treatment, will be met with swift and decisive punishment. This is one of, if not the biggest video game release in history. Use some common sense about it. People want to play and find things out naturally.
Carry on.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Finally beat the game.......Was greatly impressed, it was fun through out. I just wish they gave an incentive to actually buy property or do the stock market. I did none of that and still had tons of money to buy every weapon and mod I wanted, with max amo for all 3 characters. That was the only gripe I had.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Freaks and strangers mission with Trevor. I don't know when this one appeared, but I'm about 42% done at the moment, with 43 missions done.
Spoiler
Sure this has been posted about before, but the drunk singing dude at the yellow jack inn had me laughing out loud for a good 30 seconds.
Is there any place in the world I'd rather be?
Than drunk as a sunk at the Alamo See.
I said to the wife, "Bitch, I'm going out for a snack."
That was ten years ago and I ain't been back.
Oh, show me the way to Sandy Shores.
I've spent all my money on meth and on whores...Comment
