Surprised to see my play time with all three characters is just about even.

About 11 1/2 hours with each and It isn't even intentional. I think I have a good feel for rotation. Three protagonists was a brilliant idea.

In years past I would say, "Man I'm all the way out in the ocean and don't feel like going across the map for an objective" so I switch and do something else and come back later.

I try to clear all my character's small objectives first before things that I know will be big in the story too.

A few wishes: Customizable/better motorcycle helmets, more property that can be purchased, and the ability to go in food places.

I did take that bike of Franklin's and drop the saddlebags, give it a fresh paint job, and some framework changes and it looks much better.

Well about 30 minutes in and I encountered my first "dynamic event"

I just helped Packie from GTA IV rob a store as the get away driver. Awesome, now he is unlocked as a person I can hire for heists

i did the same thing. i hired him for the Paletto Bay mission and

and on the ride over to the bank everyone was telling the story of thier first score. when they got to Packie he started talking about the "3 Leaf Clover" mission and how him and his crew had a shootout with the cops and had to getaway through the Subway. then he says that everyone from that crew is either dead or in jail. he also assumes Niko is dead.

i thought that was so awesome. Rockstar is amazing!

Who said there was no reggae on the radio? Blue Ark plays it.

yeah i didnt realize there was one until just a few days ago. im not really feeling it though. the reggae songs in 4 were much better.

What percentage completed you guys got already?

The safe houses could be better in this game, I wish you could eat, take showers, use the rest room, wash your face/brush your teeth, and take off your cloths in them. If I want to walk outside with my shirt off or in boxers only I should be able too.
I actually like Sleeping Dogs safe house's better because you can do more in them.

man, i totally agree. i like doing little stuff like that and i loved that aspect of Sleeping Dogs.

I did the 3rd one and almost lost my thumb tapping A nonstop. My Michael leveled up stamina twice during that last race alone.


And Im coming around on the soundtrack. It may not be mind blowing but I think it grows on you over time.

Man, that part alone took me like 10-12 real time minutes to go across SMH. I ended up placing 4th in that one as the 1st place winner had a good distance between him and the 2nd, 3rd place finishers. Also like the touch of being able to watch the race from the Weazel News Helicopter will commentary as well.

And I'm with you on the soundtrack. Find myself listening to West Coast Classics and the Pop station the most. The R&B songs are a little lacking as I wish they had some current R&B songs.

yeah u can. i was Michael chilling at beach. i then switched to Franklin who to my surprise was at the beach as well in the parking lot tending to his motorcycle. i drove down to where i left micheael and there he was. he then asked me to hang out, and i said yes.

haven't really made money off of anything resembling a heist. I'm 44 missions in, should this be changing ? I was hoping for more heists similar to the jewelry store. Since then it's been assassinations, boosting cars, returned heist, the cargo plane mishap, along with the bitch work for FIB dudes. . I've still got the mission coming where we're transporting the stolen cars and I'm hoping for a payday from that.

I dont know if any of you guys know this, but if you give Trevor a randal haircut. After a couple of weeks (game time, not real time) his hair grows back a little. thats pretty cool. Guess if i leave it like that for like a month (game time), his hair will grow back to normal.

Something I don't really see the point of on Heists. The game says that crew members' skills that you hire increase the more you use them. But if there's only a set number of heists in the game, how are their skills supposed to improve by any meaningful amount? It seems like picking the more skilled crew members would always be more worth it even though they get a higher cut.

Something about Grand Theft Auto and overproduced, generic pop music that feels like a match made in heaven. Caught myself driving around the Hills nodding my head to Fergie's Glamorous with Michael. Enjoyed every single second of it.

Lol, nothing to be ashamed about, man. I did the same thing with Franklin in a R8, after I bought a 3,000$ suit.

In my opinion, the rock station in this game is just as good, if not better than the one in San Andreas. The one in LC was good, but this one has more popular and better songs.

Some more to add. I have to say that the mission design for this game is very strong. A definite improvement over GTA IV. All of Trevor's introductory missions were great.
