I guess that can happen anywhere, as it occurred with me by the mountains. They were on a dirt platform. I was able to shoot and kill them myself though.

That's where it was with me too I think. I guess I didn't describe the location right. It happened on Friday, so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

And yes, this was by the mountains.

Question for those who have finished the game. Not that I'm anywhere close or will be any time soon. I understand that the ending credits run for quite a bit. Is there a bonus for sitting through them like with certain movies or no?

I've had two different random events (one which I survived, the other which was damn near impossible and I was killed) that reminded me of something like this. One was with Michael and one was with Trevor.

With Michael:

I'm around Grove Street when a guy's bike is stolen, so I proceed to kill the guy, retrieve it and return it. Once he thanks me, I kill him and take his bike. Then suddenly my blip screen lights up with maybe a dozen red dots, which must be his buddies firing at me in the alleyway. I honestly only survived because the police who were coming after me ran over half of them coming at me in the alleyway.

This one was a bit different, and I'm kind of a little more interested in exactly what happened. I was driving southbound on PCH-1, and I see three red dots on an off-turn to a little island looking plateau (I'll mark it on the map if I find it again). I go over there, and there are a bunch of cars and pickup trucks (headlights still on) with guys outside of them, on the ground, near death. Some guy's head is also on his horn, dead. I wanted to shoot them, but I didn't know what would come of it. At the foot of the plateau was the third dot, and next to him was a large bulk of cash. It ended up being $25,000. When I took it, the guy threatened me saying I shouldn't take it or something, then died moments later.

I stayed there for quite a while, even called police to see if they would do anything, but they didn't really. When I finally drove away and continued south toward Los Santos, there were two vehicles following behind me and firing with automatic weapons. Their shots were precise and their driving was every bit as good as mine. Like I said, they were impossible to escape. I survived for about 90 seconds before they finally killed me, and I couldn't seem to kill them from in front of them either. It was indeed random.

I hope to see more of these!

I had something similar to the first one happen with Franklin. I got drunk with Lamar and punched this guy who said something. It turned out that the guy was part of some gang and they were all over the place. I ended up getting destroyed.

I luckily got that random event after finishing the game. Just dropped him off and invested all $37M of Franklin's money and $72M of Michael's money into that stock. Should be set for the rest of playing this game.

Wanted to update this for anyone interested.. Stock/Ending Spoiler

The stock ended up peaking at 24% increase, so I ended up making about $10M with Franklin's money. I read the money wrong for Michael, I only had about $7.2M, not $72M. He made just over $1M off of it.

Not nearly as much as I had hoped for, but still a pretty significant amount. Still got a long way to go before I can afford the golf course... if I ever get there.

Well my game is glitched. I finished the game but my 100% checklist still says 67/69 Missions....Im so pissed.

Anyone run into this problem yet or read about a solution? Or do I have to replay all the missions again and hope I play the 2 that didn't register?

Last night I was doing missions (around #52-59)...

Not really a spoiler, just my reaction to the overall feel of those...

WOW, those really sucked me in. I couldn't put the controller down, I kept saying "1 more mission" then would keep going. This story is probably my favorite of all the GTA/Rockstar games to date. I can't wait to get home to do a few more missions.

Like the real life one. Buy low, sell high. Pay attention to the low, average, high of each stock. In my experience find a stock that's low with a high max price and buy it. Chances are that it will hit that high again.

Also when doing Assassination missions with Franklin, pay attention to what Lester says about stocks. For example: (Not a real mission so no spoiler) He will say like, the CEO of (Insert Company) is being sued by paid off lawyers by the government. Assassinate all of them so the company doesn't go under. Go to your stock, buy as much as that company as possible and then complete the assassination. The next day that stock should explode since the risk is gone and then sell it.
