I know guys like Trevor but I was glad to control Michael again. I just find him to be the most enjoyable character of the three.

But I'm only 23% or so through so maybe that changes.

Anyone experiencing an extremely long loading/freeze time during the "loading story mode" screen? I downloaded the game on my Xbox360 & have a ton of memory. HELP!!!!

Its going to take a long time on the opening loading screen. It does that so you wont ever see a loading screen while you are playing the game. As long as it is now, I would be willing to wait 10X that long to not have loading screens in game.

spending tons of money purchasing and upgrading cars only to always lose them while doing missions wtf??

That's always been the case in GTA games from what I can remember. I never take a car I really want to keep on a mission.

It usually lasted no longer than 5 minutes, I was waiting last night for almost 20!

I don't think this is a spoiler, but still very random...

I was playing as Trevor last night and came upon a black SUV with the driver and front passenger doors open. It was marked as a blue dot on my radar. I figured something was up so I didn't jump in. But as I was slowly approaching it to look inside, this guy comes up from somewhere behind the car and shoots me with something (they weren't bullets) and the next thing I know Trevor is waking up on the traintracks in his underwear with a train approaching.

And that was it. Was that some kind of bait car?

Something isn't right, it should never take that long.

I wanted to gouge my eyes out but ended up going to bed lol. I'll try as soon as I get back home from work, hopefully it isn't anything serious. I was only 9% into the game.

When u buy los santos customs with Franklin can u get free mods at any store or just the one u bought ?

I really wish you didn't lose the cars you drive to missions. I want to be rolling in Franklin's tricked out Escalade on the way to missions, haha.

Come to think of it, Franklin is the only one I really have customized cars for. I feel like his character would care about driving sweet vehicles. I just use Michael's default vehicle when I'm with him, and with Trevor I pretty much always just steal the first car I see, lol

Agreed! Especially when Jimmy is in the car with you after the "rescue the yacht" mission. I prefer having Michael drive around the Luxury vehicle's like an Audi or Rolls Royce. So boss!

I didn't mod any vehicles. Now that I beat the game I will. Kind of funny half way through the game, I switched to Franklin and had a brand new motorcycle that I guess he bought on his own, along with some black car. Michael ended up buying a new car on his own as well, it was a black SUV.

I modded out Franklin's primary vehicle because its always there. I wanted to fly the military jet so I loaded up a car I stole with armor and bullet proof tires for my assault on the military base. I also spend the money on bullet proof tires for my getaway vehicles for any heist.

So you can just land the jet in Trevor's hanger and it will be saved ? Does it have to be in the hanger or anywhere on the property ?

I put some money in both Franklin and Michael's ride.. Both look awesome now. Then I put a little cash in a 4WD truck and Michael's Range.

Also fixed Franklin's bike up. New pearlescent dark blue paint, removed the bags, and changed up the frame. It's also a must to put new headlights on every vehicle.

I applaud Rockstar on clothing options. There are some good looking threads in the upscale stores.
