Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Just pulled off something awesome with a random event while using Franklin:
SpoilerLady screaming that she needed help because a guy was bleeding. It's in a back alley, so I knew what the deal was. Followed her, and as soon as the guy steps around the corner I draw my shotgun. Lady tries to draw a pistol, but I elbow her in the face, shoot the guy in his leg so he collapses, turn back to the lady and blast her up against the wall. Guy was still squirming on the ground. I walk up to him slowly, pull out my nightstick, and right as he rolls over, BAM, random event complete. Not even a gunshot wound. Just walked back to my Patriot.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Just beat the game. Outstanding, I would give it a 9.5 out of 10.
For people that beat it:
SpoilerWhat option did you choose? I chose option C, because I thought it would save both characters, and thankfully I was right. I wouldn't want to spend all that time playing as them only to kill them off. I might replay the final missions just to see how it plays out though.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Now that they fixed the car issue, anytime you upgrade a car, does that car now automatically belong to you and will show up at your house? Or do I need to save it in a garage before and after driving it? Does it go away for good if I forget it on a mission or it gets totaled?Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
So how do cars work now? I can drive them to missions and even if I destroy them or lose them they'll be waiting for me in my garage?Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
WARNING!!!!!
Several people over at GTA Forums are still experiencing the disappearing car glitch.
Side note: Man, that site is like the Wild West. Users get away with saying just about anything - using any derogatory verbiage they'd like - with extremely minimal Mod intervention.
It makes me want to give Pared a hug right now.
Side note for side note: What ever happened to Pared?
Anyway, this is all unconfirmed but buyer beware. GTA Forums are in more of a frenzy than even usual right now over this (which is honestly hard to believe).Comment

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
It does take the fun out of driving multiple cars and it should have been caught before release.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V
I really wish they would have handled cars completely differently. They give you all these modification tools, but you have to be so careful with any car you decide to improve.
There should have been some way to "tag" a car, that is give it a spot in your garage, so that even if it gets destroyed at some point or you leave it during a mission or random rampaging it will re-appear in your garage no matter what.
The way it is now, you can't use the cars for anything but just driving around in circles--you have to put it back in the garage before you go do anything else or you lose it, possibly forever.Comment
