Finally got the game this weekend for my birthday. Two observations:

      1) Being a dad now, I'm not going to have anywhere near the time I had in GTA IV. I feel pretty overwhelmed by everything you can do in the game.

      2) I have a feeling I'm not going to care much for the "stars" of the game. Niko was easily the most sympathetic character in a GTA game. We'll see how the story develops, though.

I think that one's pretty common. I was overwhelmed at the start too. It almost felt like there was too much to do and I didn't know where to go first, second or third. But as the game moves forward, things tend to settle a little bit and our minds adjust.

To me that's part of the beauty of GTA, RDR, etc. I love that initial overwhelmed feeling, only to feel sad as hell when the game has finally run its course and you don't have anything new to discover.

same here. 7 month old.....this is def not a game you can just pop in and play for a few minutes here or there. If I cant sit and get into it for a good hour- hour and a half, ill just read a book or some other passtime, but I WANT to be playing like 24/7 lol

Quick question for you guys about something that happens fairly early on, but just to be on the safe side:

              Spoiler

If you go to the actual heist mission itself, it lets you change there. Not sure about the buildup missions though, I've only tried replaying the same approach to get the gold award. I was able to pick a new crew.

Building off of that, what happens when you replay a mission and, say, earn more money? Does that more money get added to your total? Do you just make more money the more times you re-do the missions?

When you re-do missions, there is a save made that is a snapshot of your current game. When you're finished with the replay, it brings you to that save. So you can re-do old missions at any point in your playthrough and nothing changes in your current save.

So if I go back and absolutely dominate the first heist and make twice as much money as the first time around, I won't actually see that cash at the end of the day, yes?

Right. It takes a snapshot of your game. You replay the mission, see your new scores and get new medals. You go back to the snapshot. Nothing sticks. It just goes back to where you were like nothing happened, except now your new scores are what shows in the list of missions you can replay.

360 Owners: Ya'll remember when you first got the game that you had to install the "non game" disc first on your system and then put the second disc in there to actually play the game because of some graphics issue or whatnot? Is that still the same today or could you go ahead and install the 2nd disc onto your 360 without any issues as far as graphics go?

If anyone's trying to complete all the "Under the Bridge" goals (flying under 50 bridges), I wanted to mention the Buzzard that's hidden atop the N.O.O.S.E. building on the right side of your map. It's a little smaller than the standard heli and can fit through those narrow concrete bridges by the race track scathe-free.

I was stuck on 48/50 bridges until I read my heli- was likely hitting the walls too much at those bridges. The Buzzard fixed that.
