I forgot to add probably the most important thing for you online players. As long as you have a minimum of 250k and are in a crew with at least one other member, press start, go to online, go to playlists, then go to challenges. Find a challenge that says 250k on the info screen on the right. I can't tell you guys which one to choose and some are occasionally troll challenges but if you complete them within the time specified you will earn 250,000(it will initially say a very low amount like $1000 but on one of the next screens it will say +500,000(it's really 250)).

Some people have reported losing the 250k if you fail though. They can be done once per day, per character on Xbox 1/Ps4. I know last gen had it patched a while back. I'm guessing this gets patched in the next couple days. I've never failed one. I'm probably 10 for 10 so far. Definitely worth the gamble imo.

My issue with that is if you pick a bogus one, you're SOL and out that $250k. I'd love to do it to up my $, but don't want to risk it. I also read somewhere that you can spectate someone doing it and it gives the $ to spectators also.

Just scroll through the challenges until you find a Criminal Records race.

Easiest $250k ever.

A bit frustrated with online right now. Anytime I go to a job or a playlist and select "Join Job" I get placed into my own lobby with myself as the host. It doesn't even look like it searches for any matches. Is this happening to anyone else?

I have had zero issues with online play on Xboxone. I'm hoping this patch I just downloaded doesn't change that.

Unfortunately I just hopped on and the highest crew challenge was 100k. The title was "1". It's 5 Laps criminal records with close to 3 min. Plenty of time.

2nd character there was a 250k Crim rec....4:17 for 5 laps. I was sweating it out!

I don't know, is it worth trying to hassle with online yet?

Anyway, a couple of settings changes I thought some might try:

- You can set handbrake back to X/A by going to Settings -> Controls -> Alternate Handbrake Control -> On.

- Turn off First Person Head Bobbing if playing in FPV is a little unsettling while running around.

- I've done this since the PS3 version, but try and lower the game's brightness about a quarter way down (8-9 clicks from darkest setting). It encapsulates night-time driving a bit more and boosts daytime contrast. I love it. This is probably best for plasma owners though who have good black levels/shadow detail on their television sets already. Can't speak for the LCD crowd.

Messing with the share factory for the first time. Not a bad app.

It apparently auto removes music. Which made me really appreciate the sounds of the game.

5 min. clip of me robbing an armored truck online. The getaway could have been a little bit smoother. Nevertheless, I felt like a BOSS afterwards.

Didn't they say animals were supposed to be a part of online for this gen? I hope it doesn't become like the heists where we are waiting for it forever...
